Not many notes. Opulent. A bit rustic. Some yeast. Beautiful and soft tart lemon. Still very fresh. Beautiful Champagne.

In the bouquet autumn forest, mushrooms and also still some cherries. Same on the palate. Some earth, a little bell pepper, refined and melted tannin with still a soft bite, creamy and a touch of sweetness. Good length. A beautiful, refined, harmonious and complex wine which is definitely not too old yet.

Beautiful and mature bouquet with autumn forest floor, sweet spices and still some red berry fruits. On the palate a bit special and still very much alive. The wine shows red berries, metal, iron and other minerals, earth, firm acidity and tannin which is still sticky. Overall an open, expressive wine with a great length and still tannin with a good future. The special part is that the wine is very elegant and seems to lack some body which is in contradiction with the other impressions and considering its age. Anyway this is a great bottle!

What a pleasant surprise! The bouquet shows flavors of espresso, chocolate, autumn forest and some barnyard. On the palate at first some organic impressions, but with some more air time even black berries appeared. Earth, minerals, some sweet spices, good acidity and integrated tannin with still a soft bite. Good length. At the end of its life, but still a pleasure to drink.

The bouquet is not very expressive but shows some red berries and autumn forest. On the palate juicy red fruits, earth, mushrooms, coffee, a touch of sweetness nicely balanced by good acidity and soft and integrated tannin. Beautiful, complex and mature wine which still has good freshness. Will stay on this level for some years. Beautiful!

The color still has a purple hue. On the palate dark forest fruits, earth, sweet spices, mint and vanilla. On the palate dark berries, chocolate, some bell pepper, powdery tannin and good acidity. The wine is ready now, but no extreme hurry.

Beautiful bouquet with sweet spices, still some dark berries and a touch of pleasant barnyard. On the palate still a beautiful wine with chocolate and cinnamon. a touch of sweetness nicely balanced by good acidity and soft, fully integrated tannin which is a bit drying. Overall a good concentration and length. Fully mature now.

Beautiful bouquet with luxurious oak, some red berry fruits and beautiful oak and cedar. On the palate luxurious and elegant. Creamy dark and red berries, butter, minerals, metal, minerals, sweet spices, rust and creamy impressions again. Good acidity and tannin. Already a special and beautiful wine. I hope the creaminess means youthful and in that case the wine still has some future. Need to taste again.

In the bouquet cassis and other dark berry fruits and beautiful oak. On the palate also cassis, almost still youthful. The tannin is still a bit sticky. Good refinement and medium+ length. The wine might even improve a bit with another few years of cellaring.

On the palate still some ripe dark forest fruits, a lot of chocolate and sweet licorice, soft acidity and mild and friendly tannin with still a smooth bite. Some pleasant bitterness in the finish. Beautiful and mature wine. Completely ready now and no real hurry.

Sweet and lush bouquet with autumn forest and still some creamy red fruits. On the palate creamy and round as well with some earth and red fruit acidity. Round but also still a little sticky tannin. Overall a beautiful and harmonious wine which is completely ready now.

On the palate all these impressions are there as well, beautiful and juicy acidity and round, soft but still powerful tannin. Great wine with still plenty of future. 2020+ will be no problem if the bottle was properly stored.
