Some nice Calon Segur notes left on the nose, ripe, warm, figgy dark fruit, biscuit, woodspice. But very tertiary now and without much vitality left. Slightly oxidized on the palate. The 62s have been a fun ride, but perhaps aside from the Latour, Mouton, and HB I'm not inclined to chase any more of these. Would have enjoyed getting at this about 20 years ago.

Somewhat shallow, certainly losing vitality. But approachable. Others finished the bottle.

Richter Raritäten Degu Volume III (Restaurant Farnsburg, Switzerland): Out of magnum. Slightly medicinal, licorice, caramel, very dense acidity, purple cherries, medium finish

Occasional dinner group; Mature and classical Bordeaux (@ WB): In the bouquet mainly flavors of rust. On the palate rust, chocolate and butterscotch. The wine is still drinkable and interesting, but over the hill. No score.
