Pronounced aromatics: peach blossom, salty minerals, and distant petrol. Very rich flavor profile showing ripe peach, juicy tangerine, and sweet apricot underscored with salty slate on the backend. The “sneaky”, medium plus acidity provides excellent balance to the ripe medium sweet fruits. Medium plus finish. In development, not a ton of complexity right now, but this should cellar for quite some time. Enjoyed with charcuterie and assorted hard cheeses. Drink through 2034+. |

Only the lack of botrytis, the acid, and the faint hints of lime remain to suggest to your palate that this might be something else. |

Not a great deal of fruit left, but plenty of structure from extract and acidity. Bitter crabapple and occasional hints of butter and icing sugar. Quite long on the finish, and overly bracing too. Probably a touch of cider, too; suspect it would have been a better wine five years ago. |
