3/4/2024 - Mtpisgah Does not like this wine: NRSuper oxidative, nose of a Sauternes, not pleasing to me at all. Tried to consume over three nights, with plenty of air. No significant change. I had other white Jurathat I have enjoyed, not this one though. |

Looking through other TNs here, I wish ludwigbpm (15.01.2021) had recorded which bottling he tasted (but I suspect it was this one). 90P |

That said... this had all the oxidative notes, some citrus and ripe apple, almond. I think more cellar time would benefit this wine, perhaps. Also, it's riper vintage may have reduced the lifting acidity that made the 2011 so compelling. |

But for what it is (and I love it), it is incredible. Citrus, nutty, mineral, ample acid, just beautiful. Long finish, complex, and evolved for hours after opening. This demands thinking and attention. |
