Knowing PreMox was a high probability and even if not, it being over the hill I was shocked how alive this wine was.what a fun restaurant find with all the makings of a wine on the decline yet still pinching in its weight class allowing for wonderful bruised apple, lemon, almond, citrus and enough acidity to keep things interesting yet not predominant as the stuffing was still holding. Drink up but enjoy a perfectly stored bottle in its twilight years. |
