Light-mid gold, lots of fresh honeydew on the nose, concentrated, almost off dry, a little spritzy acidity, heavy with high alcohol, a fat slag of a wine, and not my style, score reflects this.

Slightly nondescript, some oak but a bit dilute, especially after the Planeta, sour finish.

Quite light creamy oak, this is only just bottled after a long time in foudre (or tank), very fresh, some oily concentrated fruit, slight fresh nut quality, nice enough.

Light dusty, quite mature looking, a bit tart on the nose, slightly thin, some roast almond, overmature (for one of the younger wines), porcini finish.

Younger, light style, bright cherry, solid but thin tannins, all present but still too young, enough stuffing for the long run?

Smoky, a bit lifted, bacon and very dark fruits, big blocky tannins with a long tinned olive and chocolate finish, so young. Great big style Barolo.

Much riper sweeter fruit, just a little oak, again those solid bruising tannins, layered black forest gateaux flavours, so big, so balanced, very long

A bit dumb on the nose, young? quite inky with dense tannin plummy, not showing much savoury character yet.

Darker, more traditional? some sweet oak though, plummy dark fruit.

Great nose, a bit lifted but palate much weaker, some fragrant coca-cola notes, a bit odd, very overpriced based on this.

A bit volatile? Muddy, some interesting earthy notes but tannins already overpower the fruit.

In a funny place right now, already shed its initial fresh, almost tannic acidity, less expressive than recent bottles. Possibly poor storage ;).

Spicy bread pudding nose, nice balance, great pure chardonnay, never going to be a great Peters but perfectly pleasant.

Soft mineral, coal, sour haribo, quite modern and almost overbearing(?) but lovely now.

Beautiful nose of orange peel and soft wood, super.

Elegant, classic style but acid slightly overpowering, lifted finish, perhaps just too warm?

Quite light, soft cherry, very fragrant fully mature, very nice.

Dried fruit, very dried, no make that dead.

A bit stinky, showing Barolo character still but only just, a bit of a husk of a wine, drink up

Just a ghost left of this wine, very thin with big dirty tannins. DOA

Quite complex and full, nailed this one (fluke) pear tarte tatin, superlong finish but quite low acid, some almond/marzipan.

Didn't really like this, some barley sugar but not much left.
