Too young, of course, very tight, very Syrah, pebbery with a bright fruit, some buttermilk - wait a couple of years.90+

Juicy and balanced; a 2014, but with a lot more matter. Quite elegant, good length. Still very young, wait for it.

Very dense, quite tannic, a bit sauvage, even petillant in the beginning; very young, indeed, but this could move along nicely, if you wait - there is a decent weight behind. 91+

Elegant bistro-wine, light, but clean, dancing on the palate. Very typical for the vintage, this seems quite ready.

Much like I remember it from tasting the bottle bought in Chambers Street, this is really pushing the envelope in terms of Saint-Joseph. This night, it came across as cool, steely blue in the expression, closes, of course, but with everything going for it. Wait a bit still...

Another vintage-typical wine, this was lush, rich, creamy and quite soft - sort of a goût américain wine, but only gently so. Will keep.

In the company of neighbouring vintages, this falls through; elegant, yes, even charming, but also lean and short, somewhat. Drink up.

Closing in on matrity, quite showy in that sense. A delicous, juicy drink, open for business, in good baklance and a nice core of fruit. Very good for a 2007, but it wont last forever.

Very different from the old plots of Trollat; a big wine, dense, dark, a bit austere, lots of matter here, right now a bit unforgiving. Decant for several hours - or wait. 92+

Surprisingly good, very rich and complex, open for business, a full bodied st. joseph with all the fixers. No need to hold this, it is great now.

Maybe the overall winner tonight, this one really hits the spot; rich, yet very cool, concentrated, complete, a very elegant wine without lackings. Garrigue, bacon, black olives & the cool north - still young and tight, though...

Ready to drink and as expected one of ther weaker wines in the set; if not fading, it is certainly mature, nothing to wait for. Correct and balanced, but drink up...

Grand Vin is here; as expected if the vintage, this stands out, it is rich, yet complex, better than many wines from Hermitage and Côte-Rôtie; like in 2010, they are pushing the envelope here. Still, judging from the 1989 of the wine, I see no reason to keep it much longer - it is still a saint-joseph.

Mature and delicious, certainly overperforming; mature in a very classic & classy) Syrah sort of way, smoky and deep. Serious. Drink up.

Fun to taste this, but I cannot say, that I am convinced; mineral, refreshing, but also a bit short and simple.

Young and fresh, vibrant, a bit fat (in a good way), things to come here, surely, much too young. 90+

Creamy and rich, dreamy, even, if you like the style (I do); it has tutti-frutti and gras galore, in a very generous state right now, you could pair it with scallops & ginger...

Quite developed withy good gras, minerals, richesse, and a creamy bees wax character. A joy to drink, no problem to hold.

Travelling along nicely, minerals galore, true to terroir, based on this performance, I should open my remaining bottles sooner rather than later, as this looks heavier and less elegant than previous bottles. Must revisit soon.

a less than perfect bottle, I fear - you sense the richesse and the minerals, but everything is out of focus...
