Slightly golden color. Typically 2013 nose with intriguing botrytis and honey infused orchard fruit. Good richness on the palate but somewhat simple and freshness is starting to fade. Time to drink up.

Attractive nose with toasty, sweet orchard fruit and florals. A nice combination of power and brightness with just a touch of Meursault nuttiness. Only solid and doesn't improve with time in the glass.

Attractive and fun nose bursts with rich orchard fruit, spice and well-integrated match stick. Deliciously round and powerful fruit with significant concentration and an array of orchard fruit, match stick and nutty flavors. Fat with electric acidity. Lemon-lime-mineral finish.

Heavy reduction makes this tougher to enjoy and figure out (particularly next to the more exciting 2014 served side-by-side). Texturally rich, attractive and balanced but it's hard to perceive much flavor given the reduction.

Enticing nose that has so much going on with fresh ripe orchard fruit that at different moments shows honey, mineral, nut and fresh cut florals. The palate has significant concentration but pronounced brightness and zingy energy that leads to a chiseled, powerful finish. Impressive and should hold for 5-10 years.

A stunning nose that is so classically mature Meursault -- dense orchard fruit and toasted nuts. Wow, the palate has insane amounts of powerful fruit with a kaleidoscope of complexity. So fresh and lively. Love the complex and nuanced flavors in that perfectly balanced powerful frame. At peak and good bottles should hold for 5-10+ years.

Starting to show some age with honeyed apple aromas. Good depth and concentration on the palate matched by bright acidity. This lacks the extra gear of power and depth of the 2009 tasted in the same flight.

Gorgeous, full aromas of orchard fruit with intense nut, floral and match stick. Fantastic power and depth. Fruit is still sweet and lightly candied while fresh and lively. Nice spice, mineral and match stick complexity in the finish. Brilliant mature wine.

Aromatic with orchard fruit, match stick, nut and loads of spice. Plenty of concentrated orchard fruit with lemon-lime, spice and mineral nuances. Taut acidity holds it together and provides length and precision. At peak.

This showed a lot more age than another bottle two years ago. Nose was subdued with oxidation weighing down the fruit and nut aromas. Palate felt a bit heavy as well.

Intense potpourri spice aromas along with honeyed orchard fruit. Rich and unctuous but lower acidity and freshness.

A successful 2004 where the herbs are more of an accent vs. a green distraction. Palate has medium body and a degree of plushness to the fruit, which is a positive relative to most 2004s.

Very Vosne aromas with black cherry, tea, Asian spices and some meat. Excellent balance and lift to the ripe, spice-infused fruit. Delicious.

Comes across as both hard and dirty, and while it freshened up with 30 minutes, it still seems either harshly closed down or off.

Served blind at the end of length Burgundy tasting, so perhaps not surprising that the group felt it was Burgundy. Lovely and charming red fruit that is already showing herb, spice and floral complexity. Youthful fruit with plenty of room to improve from here.
