Magnum was decanted for 90 minutes. The brick red color had only a faint brown edge. The nose emerged nicely with fruity overtones, maybe some currants and cherries. The medium body was quite pleasant but probably past its prime. There was a good finish and overall the wine was enjoyed by all.

After resting in my cellar for over 40 years, we finally tasted this BA. Served at 52 degrees, the color was medium amber with minimal bouquet. It brought moderate fruit with apricot and citrus overtones. The wine was delicious, but needed more acid at this time.

After 2 hours decantation, this dark red claret had a very forward nose with hints of chocolate and dark berries. The body was full with notes of dark fruit, chocolate, and leather. The finish was long and delightful. I purchased this wine around 1976 for $11.95 at Hi-Time wines in Costa Mesa, CA. Ch. Trotanoy never disappoints.

I stored this wine for over forty years. It was decanted for one hour. The color was garnet red with a generous brown edge. The nose was quite forward with a red fruit and leather quality. The body was full and again cherry accented with enough tannins to give it real structure. The finish was lingering and delightful.

After 90 minutes of air, this wine was ruby red without any brown on the edge. The reasonably forward nose initially gave a ripe dark red fruity overtone that became quite rounded and added some leather and cherry notes. The robust body was very full and magnified the elements of the nose. The finish was long and lingering. This wine has many more years on this plateau.
