I agree. Great surprise at $19.99. Definately Howell Mountain. I'm a huge fan of O'Shaughnessy and this wine is the perfect daily drinker when you dont want to shell at $60 plus for a nice cab. I expect the price on the White Cottage to sky rocket when the secret gets out.

- Garnet color with medium forming legs - Picked this up on wine express for about half the community average. Very happy with the purchase. Very Alexander Valley. Lots of oak. I think it was more impressive at open compared to two hours out. Definitely a good buy under $30.

Better at the beginning. Didn't hold up past a couple of hours. Lacks finish. Not trying to bash it, I'm actually satisfied with the purchase at $22.99 from WTSO but would look for something different above that price point.

Are you kidding me? Hands down the best $19 bottle of wine I have ever had... Drinks like $40 or better.

If you're a fan of the Ridgeline Cab the 2007 will not disappoint you. A little less fruit, a little more oak and a longer finish makes this better than the 05 vintage that was a favorite of my wife and me.

Consistent with my last notes may be getting better. Getting some cherry in this and excited about the price point. Drinks like a $38 to $45 bottle.

Decanted for 2 hours. Thick and dark in the glass. Dark cherry and cinnamon, it seemed almost port like. Long finish. I will drink this with a meal next time and probably on a cold night. It did not work well on a hot Virginia night by itself.

Decanted for an hour or so. Thick and dark in the glass. Fruit forward with just enough oak, low acidity not hot at all. Very nice.

Nice daily drinker. Decent nose with enough fruit and oak to satisfy your big cab taste buds. Will score higher as it ages slightly hot right now.

Popped and poured. Good from the start, velvety texture, fruit forward with licorice and spice. Good value.

Dinstictively Silver Oak in nose and flavor. Was more impressed with it on the first pour as apposed to the last glass. As the tannins settled the wine lost some of its appeal. Still one of my favorites.

Very nice well made wine. Oak and spices on the nose and a nice dusty cab flavor with some tannins that mellowed out over an hour or so. Bought 6 should have got 12 or more. Shame there is not more availability. A bigger cab than the 06 vintage.

Earthy nose with some spice. Drinking well right away but becomes bigger as it opens up over an hour. It's a tremendous value at the community average.

Seriously? Two hour decant and this wine is fantastic! Great nose, big tannins and I'm still enjoying the finish as I make this note. Lot 18 was a bargain at $25 looking for more after I enjoy the rest of the bottle... Big juicy cab!

Popped and poured. Beautiful nose and dark ink color. Very big wine and long finish. I think a good decant would smoothe this out very well. I'm sorry I only have two left.

Easily a 93! Needs a good decant or drink over two days. Wonderful nose and lots of chocolate. It's not cheap but you wont be disappointed.

A nice fragrant nose; delicate and dusty. Not what I expected from a California cab, it tasted more like a French bordeaux. I'm not a pro but it was perfect with the steak and at the community average I'm glad I bought six.

Nice nose and finish. Very nice wine but didn't blow me away for the $50.00 price point. Enjoyed but would not purchase again.
Revisited this wine again and what a difference. Decanted for an hour. The wine was much more complex with a wonderful nose, just enough oak to make my wife happy, and a finish that made me regret my last notes. I am ordering another case!

Opened with very little expectations due to the fact I received it in the mail and it appeared to be damaged during transport. Lots of sediment decanted for an hour and tasted fine. Very smooth with no acidity and after 2 hours it opened up to a powerful cab with lots of fruit and a nice finish. Very pleasent surprise and I would purchase again.
