Very pale color, almost rust like. Good sweetness, excellent with the cheese course on Easter dinner.

Have owned the bottle for 7 years or so. Opened it, decanted it, and let is sit for about 2 and a half hours. Aroma of earth, wax, and leather. Initial tastes of anise and pepper with a hearty cherry finish. Long, mellow finish that seemed to last for hours. Truly a fantastic bottle of wine.

For $20 you can get a lot better. Flat, coats the tongue, displeasing aroma

Opened a magnum, decanted, and let sit for 2 hours. Immediately after open a bit of menthol in the nose, however, after sitting for two hours it really opened up. Lots of earth, cedar, leather, and cassis. Round flavors, proper amount of tannin. Served it with fantastic Prime Rib and it was truly a match made in heaven.

Fantastic. Opened a magnum and let it breath for about 90 minutes. Initially very closed, it opened nicely with aromas of earth and leather. Long finish. Too bad I monly had one bottle.

Never really opened up. Declined a bit over the past 5 months or so since we drank the last bottle.

Very mediocre. A little stringy. Not much body but it is better then the last one I had. Hopefully will continue to improve.

Opened and let sit for about 45 minutes. Aromas of honey, brown sugar, and molasses, but the wine was not at all sweet. Drinking very well now. Silky and smooth on the palate, but with a subtle, lingering aftertaste.

Haven't had a bottle for about 6 months. Certainly has 'thinned' out a bit. Refreshing and crisp but I am certain it won't last another 6 months. Tastes of cola, berries and spice.
