Enjoyed this wine Friday evening after Thanksgiving.
This wine is delicious and I am either a soft touch or a very lucky guy! The wine was smooth, rich and the 1st glass had a spicy finish. The 2nd glass after about a half hour of “decanting” the spice disappeared and was replaced with a sweetness from front to finish. Full-bodied with black fruit and a bit of mild chocolate notes. This was so yummy 😋.

I’ve read the reviews on Cellartracker which are lower than I have mine but I really did love it though I would recommend a hour decant before drinking today or just wait a year or two for your next bottle.

Hard to wait though … patience my friend. 😉

Wow! This wine is drinking beautifully … front to back starting with gourgous bouquet that Barbara pointed out from the moment I poured the glass. Followed by sweet blackberries and from front to back of tongue just wonderful full-bodied with refined tannins that are just Yummy!
Had first bottle over a year ago and wasn’t impressed so this has come a long way in the bottle! It’s going to be hard not to open a second bottle during the Eagles vs. Chiefs football game Monday night.

Full body with black fruit and chocolate with mild to no noticeable tannins. I thought this was absolutely YUMMY! 😋
Taste so wonderful that I wouldn’t pair it with food at this point … just want to sit back, sip, and enjoy the ride. Wonderful wine 🍷

This has been a wonderful wine for us.
Wonderful dark blackberry fruits, mocha, slight vanilla, and and smooth integrated tannins.
I think it’s got better with age and usually find we need to drink the Chappellets early rather than later.
Our last bottle so if anyone has other Chappellet vintages to recommend, let us know!

Probably the best Chardonnay I’ve ever tasted.
