1/7/24, 3:59 PM - j'ai une bouteille. combien de temps le garderiez-vous dans votre cave ?j'ai aussi une bouteille de Gallet Blanc
1/10/24, 7:40 AM - 🤓🤓merci!!
11/5/23, 5:56 AM - did you decant it?how did it change over time?I know that the o6s have been a little zig zaggy and no one here has really been singing songs about this bottle. it makes me sad because i have two bottles of it and one of the Fremiet : /I hope that on day two it turned around
10/30/23, 2:22 AM - would you say if this wine was kept well that i can age longer?I keep looking at my one bottle and thinking it will be gorgeous but I am not in a rush to drink it. I bought it back in 2004 and have stored it properly since
10/20/23, 1:20 PM - Did you decant this wine?
8/24/23, 5:36 AM - thanks for the note!I have 2 of these and have a proper cellar. When would you think they would be ideal to open. I am in no rushthanks againj
8/9/23, 9:30 AM - I have one of these in the cellar still. at the time, my wine dealer was telling me that 06 was similar to 93? and how it was an under the radar year. these need i think about 20 years or so to show their cards. Their "lesser" 06s are showing beautifully now which gives me hope for this wine thanks for the notes
5/25/23, 4:54 AM - Thanks for the notes on this. There are not too many of these around. By the sound of your notes, it sounds that this is still quite young / can age for longer easily. Was it beginning to show lots of secondary notes ?thanks for any input
5/13/23, 9:44 AM - Thanks for the notes! There are not too many of these aroundAny insight on keeping them/ drinking them etc? I have one 1/2 bottle in my cellarthank youj
1/16/23, 2:27 PM - did you decant it?i have a mag and now i am thinking to hold onto it for a few more than i thought
7/10/22, 9:02 AM - great note, redhead6971! i have been buying these since the 2015 vintage. His Crozes is really super after a few years - 2016 right now is singing
3/9/22, 12:23 PM - these wines are very very good. I have been buying what I can since the 2005 vintage. the sec wines age wonderfully if you like aged chenin. Their sweet spot on average is about 10 years and a bit more for very structured vintages like 2010. I can't say enough good things about how they age besides they make up the majority of the white wines for aging in my cellar
3/10/22, 2:54 AM - That '89 is going to be delicious. I have the 96 still of the same wine. I live in France and a common accompaniment with a bottle like that would be pears with a bit of blue cheese. Something simple so it does not overwhelm the wine. I hope that you enjoy itrecently, I opened the o9 and it was delicious and really at it's primeenjoy
11/14/21, 12:56 AM - I have one bottle of this and 2 of the Rupertis. tasting notes of these wines like yours do not come around often. How long would you say they still have in the tank? I still feel that o4 for wines like these are maybe just starting to say hello but far from showing all of their cardsthanks for the notes
11/16/21, 1:31 AM - Thanks so much. I have a 98 too that i read your note also. from what i have gathered from others, the 98 is still a bit uptight too. I will probably drink the 98 first. thanks for the insight j
9/21/21, 2:24 PM - those are quite young. i would think that they need a good 2 to 3 hour decant or something. they age well and are built for that. they need time to show their stuff. i have some of the 14s and i ill not opne the until '24 at least. i still have the 2oo5
8/28/21, 12:04 AM - i am just nervous that my magnum will out live me and i am 46
5/16/21, 12:36 AM - thanks for the note.did you decant this?
5/16/21, 1:15 PM - OK, thanks for the insight.
4/12/21, 10:56 AM - did you decant this?
4/12/21, 3:22 PM - from what I have read about this wine recently, it needs a good 1 to 2 hour decant or keep for a few more years. Sociando needs some time to come into it's own - like 15 years +
4/6/21, 2:19 PM - from my experience with Gouges, this bottle needs another 7 to 10 years. the 2010s are so held up and not showing their goods. even o5 is still locked up
3/12/21, 1:22 PM - this is the same review of the 2010. are they both that similar ?
2/21/21, 9:28 AM - Did you decant this? drank it over an evening or was there a day two?thanks jason
12/22/20, 7:20 AM - how much longer would you say is in the tank for the 2oo1?i have one bottle , i bought it on release . I am just trying to gage it.where did you get the bottle?thanks
12/15/20, 1:43 AM - Did you decant this at all?
11/11/20, 1:43 PM - i just pulled out a 1/2 of the o5 also and was surprised at the color too. glad to know that it is just not me.
4/6/20, 4:33 AM - how long would you hold this for if you had other bottles? i was only able to buy one and i figured to let it see it's 10th birthday thanks for sharing notes on these wines. there are not too many out therecheers
8/31/19, 1:49 PM - I am finding the same with the 15s. i started drinking up the rest now. these are optimal 3 years after the vintage
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
