The bottle was in perfect condition and the cork immaculate. Barnyard, leather and some oxidation notes on the nose. Dark brick color with a light rim. Drinking well now or 2 years earlier

Opened 1 hour earlyer and paired with fiorentina T bone steak.
Deep red colour with some brick showing his age.
On the nose is elegant herbs and tobacco are present.
Tannins are round and smooth; still warm and spicy on the mouth. Ready to drink now peak + time.

Intense red bordeaux color with a little brick rim.
Ont he nose is complex;leather and heart and some unusual
Farm hint. On the palate is warm yet rounf and fully ready to be drunk. Decanted for just 1 hour in the bottle. Paired with a 1.2 kg fiorentina steak. To be drunk now or in 3 years time max.

Did not expected this one to still good. unusual style and caracter.
unfiltered uncleared and no barriques were used. very alcoholic with his 17 %. it was just well balanced with smooth tannins and herbal notes.
ready to drink.

in the corner of this cellar there was a hidden, secret corner: a small barrel with the number 50 written on it. This was Pietro's very best wine wich is set asside for is own family and dearest friends to enjoy on special occasions ... that was the story.
the wine is elegant, velvety, dark purple coloured
strong and impervious shade, tones and vivid purplish blue which scatters from Persia to the indigo and purple. The impact of smell is powerful and vinegar followed by spicy.
good now or for the next 8 years.

i guess is at its peak so enjoyed with some mediterranean seafood and the match was excellent.
