What a pleasant surprise! I don’t understand the low ratings on this wine. I found it well balanced and very approachable. Mid to dark red fruits. Mild acidity. Moderate tannins. A very enjoyable wine. Albeit an hour or more of breathing was allowed before consumption.

Had the privilege of first tasting this with Celia Welch on a beautiful spring day in Napa. It's a lovely lighter white blend that will keep your friends guessing as to what went into this wine.

Wow! Surprise!! This wine was a pleasant surprise. I first tasted it at the winery and thought it was good. It was great tonight. I decanted for about an hour before tasting. Brilliant nose of cherries and dark fruit. Rich on the palate. Bold flavors. Long finish. Not for the faint of heart. This is a big bold wine for those who love big reds.

Wow! What a surprise. This wine is drinking well at this point. Mild nose of dark berries & earth. Well integrated on the palate. Raspberry & Blackberry tones, peppery. Well balanced. Silky tannins. Very smooth with a long lingering finish. I would just bet this is some of the best juice coming out of Lodi.

Brownish red color. Nose of musty earth and hints of fruit. A simple wine that lacks balance & structure.

Wow!! Dark ruby color. Amazing nose of dark fruit and berries. Smooth and balanced on the palate with Satin-like texture. Long finish. Great surprise. Delightful!

Decant before drinking. Dark ruby color, aromas of dark berries and chocolate. Harsh tannins when popped and poured. Long lingering finish. After letting it rest over night, it really smoothed out and tasted great. Well balanced and delicious. It definitely needs the extra time to breath. You will be rewarded for your patience.

Popped and poured. Very approachable right out of the bottle. Excellent nose of dark fruit and berries. Delicious dark fruit flavors on the palate with a very long finish. Great wine, very enjoyable.

The wine is violet colored with long slow legs. It smells like Black currant and Pepper. It tastes like Blackberry, and Blueberry. The body is Medium-Full with a long finish. Delightful.

Wow! Was this drinking good. Deep dark purple tones. Aromas of dark berries. Bold on the palate. Long finish and delicious. It tended to get better after a couple of hours as well. Big and bold!

Decanted for 4 hours prior to tasting because Nebbiolo can have very strong tannins. Inky dark, bold and tasty. Well balanced with a long finish. Very surprised with this wine. Delicious!! A treat for those who love big bold red wines.

Decanted for two hours prior to tasting. Dark Inky color. Full bodied with a very long finish. Chewy. The wine is well balanced and smooth. Drinking well at this age. A real winner for those that like BIG red wines.
