Beautiful bottle. Cassis, a little sour cherry, tobacco, loam, earthy. Showing age nicely. Understated, but nice fruit. Medium-light palate, great balance. Showing some nice complexity.

Very nice. Dark ruby red. Good fruit, cherry and plum, lots of underlying notes, asphalt, smoke, loam. Medium-full bodied. Great balance.

Very nice, and drinking beautifully right now. Dark purple-red. Raspberry, a little strawberry twizzler, some basil, smoke. Full bodied, not too heavy, nice balance. Delicious.

Dark, ruby-purple color. Beautiful Rhone bombshell. Big blackberry, with some bright strawberry fruit, a little herbal character. Great balance, with plenty of acidity. Medium-heavy palate, very full. Delicious.

From screwcap. Very similar to my first bottle: A dark purple-ruby color. Beautiful nose of blueberry, raspberry, leather, smoke, and black pepper. Lush, mouthfilling fruit. The fruit is very clean, the balance is perfect. The spiciness and oak blend perfectly. Long, delicious finish.

Same as the first bottle: Medium yellow golden color. The nose has tropical fruit and just a hint of slate. This bottle had a ton of crystals precipitated out of it. I don't know if it's related, but I found the palate to be very soft, missing the acidity it needed to balance the sweet fruit. Nice long finish, but again not enough backbone for the sweetness.

Another good bottle. Similar profile: Lots of bright strawberry granache fruit. There's a little leather and floral aroma. Lots of concentration, still plenty of tannins, lacking a little acidity to be really balanced. Excellent.

Medium ruby red color. Nose has cherry, strawberry, toast. This aged very nicely. Medium bodied, but it developed a really nice character. Lots of secondary notes on the palate, hints of cedar and tobacco. Turned into a very handsome wine.

My least favorite bottle so far. Medium garnet color. Currant and cherry fruit. Not as deep as the previous bottle, lots of oak. Medium bodied. Good balance and nice fruit, but missing the richness of the previous bottles.

Really excellent. Dark ruby purple color. Dark nose with plum, dark berries, some rhubarb. Full bodied, lots of complexity to the palate. Great backbone holding everything up. Delicious.

Better than the last bottle. Pale straw color. A little deeper, more tropical than the last bottle. Still some floral and petrol notes, with some pineapple and citrus. Good acidity, not as spritzy as the last bottle.

Similar to the last bottle: Dark ruby red. Aromas of raspberry, sweet tobacco, spice, and some herbal notes. Medium bodied, long finish. This was a great bottle of wine. Delicious fruit, nice body, some good depth. The fruit was held up by firm tannins, and had a nice freshness.

Consistent with other bottles: Aired for 1 hour. Dark ruby red. Mellow nose with leather, tobacco, cassis, a slight meaty component as well. The palate is medium-full, nicely integrated. Great, mellow fruit, nice complexity. Long, interesting finish. Really excellent, probably towards the end of it's drinking window.

Same as the last bottle: This is drinking beautifully right now. The fruit has blossomed. Dark, plummy fruit, with some tobacco, loam, a hint of pine. The fruit is delicious, you could almost mistake it for a Zinfandel, but it's a little more angular. Tannins are still present, it's nicely balanced, although slightly on the fruity side. Very full palate, delicious, wonderful stuff. Probably best to drink soon.

Better than the last bottle. The vanilla oak has faded, there's still some nice fruit, mostly raspberry. Has a little backbone left. Very pleasant.

Drinking nicely now. Medium ruby red. The oak is still there, with raspberry, cassis, some loam, a little pine. Picking up some nice nuances. Medium bodied at this point.

Similar to the last bottle, maybe fading a little: Excellent. Lots of dark fruit, blueberry, blackberry, along with some dried flowers, roast beef, and basil , and a little black pepper spiciness. Medium-full bodied. Fairly well balanced, it flirts with being overly fruity, but it's got good backbone. Delicious fruit. Very clean and well defined. Long, delicious finish.
