Not flawed but way over in terms of both nose and palate, not even scoring.

Totally and utterly surprised! A singelton in the back of the cellar. Opened up beautifully. I had to look twice at the label, yes it was an El Pedrosal which I once paid $8-10 for. Depth and complexity now matching a $50 wine. Splendid winemaking for the money. Drink now if you have any!

Great classic Bordeaux. Licorice, coffee, lots of merlot but well integrated. Top for the money. Will drink more!

Great wine, Opens up very nicely. Ripe fruit (dates/raisins) hint of coconut. Very Burgundy on the palate. nice acidify with quite some minerals. Given the price for it being an Ambonney wine, my advice is: buy a case and enjoy!

Very nice Aussie Sémillon, still lots of acidity to let a few bootle rest for another couple of years.

On the nose: a well balanced wine with raspberries and a hint of blueberris, liquorice and vanilla (probabely from the 40% part american oak) and just a tiny hint of that SA smokeyness. On the palate: Well integrated tannis and a perfectly balanced bowl of dark fruit. Stands fine on it's own and this night served with cape malay curry. This years best South African wine. Just pop and pour. 91+

(From memory) Nice Syrah nose with a surprisingly 'Aussie' tone to it. Bit of mint and chocolate. Firm tannins on the palate with a medium finish. Best Croatian red wine imo.

Nice Crozes nose with hint of tar and a scent of lovely peppered red meat along with the dark fruit. Smooth on the palate but the finish is a bit too short and shallow. Still a superb and classic Graillot C-H and a solid 89 points bordering 90. Drink now.

Very nice Riesling. Good value for money. I'm buying more for that "I need a good but cheap Riesling" moment.

Nice nose with dark boysenberries, plums, pressed dogrose hips, cedar/pine with well integrated oak. On the pallate the quite firm tannins did work well with the cherry pips and dark fruit.
Nice wine to drink now. Never tried the Aglianico grape before, but will do again.

Nice crisp Chardonnay, new world in style but still with an "old touch" The oak is now more prominent than the last bottle, green and golden apples. nice freshness on the mid palate.
Works rather well when served with asian-fusion scallops, roasted parma ham and asparagus.

Typical "modern Italian" in style, nose of red fruit, cherries, hint of tea-leaves. qiute soft tannins and qiute short on the tatse. Did expect more from a "top 10 of 100 wine".

Decanted, air for aprox 10 min then drunk:
Dark young in appearance with Cassis and blackberries on the nose, vanilla and coffee. Expected more on the palate with red fruits, blackberries and well integrated tannins. Quite a bit of heat (15% alcohol) which in my opinion lowered the score.

Wow, better than expected. Memories from tasting at the Château in 2005 and 2006 flashes before my eyes. Nice nose with right bank touch with just a hint of new world ( read napa ) comes to mind. At 80% Merlot and 20% Cab it´s very fruit driven with nice integrated oak. Tannins almost gone. The time to drink my remaining bottles is now, and I will enjoy it.

1½ years since I last drank this wine. Same nose as with before with that hint of that of an unventilated delicatessen store but the tannins on the palate are now almost completely gone. Pepper, leather and aswell as ripe red berries. the greenish note has vanished. Feels like the fruit is dissapearing too. Not like likely in the tunnel just probably on the slope downward. If you have it drink it now.

Nice petroleum/kerosene on the nose. Green apples with a hint of pears. I agree with finarevinare´s previous note of racy acididy (even though 2 years have passed since they tasted it), they are still very alive. Big mineral tone. Quite a nice match to a tonights spicy seafood casserole and fresh pasta.

Nice clean SB nose, gooseberries, huge nose of blackcurrant leaves, a bit round and "soft on the edges". In my opinion a mix of old and new world in style. Very good taste with an acidity and minerality which are quite subtle. A bit of sweetness, resembeling that of the taste of the root of the common polypody, is also present on the palate of this wine.
Very nice indeed. Might even survive a year in the cellar.

Not bad but ranks lower 80´s as it´s just above average. €9

Very good NZ Syrah. Just enogh "new world" roundness to it. (Not like some hardcore Aussie/Californian Shiraz) but still a somewhat classical sting in the mid pallate.

Average, but on the lower end, Sauvignon Blanc with a rather flat texture to it. No crispness nor any real acididy to speak of. Got top rating from a swedish wine critic on breakfast TV, beats me....

Nice wine, Quite typical Crozes nose with pepper and in this one a touch of used leather. On the palate nice rounded tannins, medium fullnes but a bit too closed on the taste of different red berries, a hint of undefined greenish notes in the mid palate. An acceptable length of the aftertaste. Quite nice wine, would drink again.

Quite soft and a bit closed on the nose, a hint of red berries and oak, the question arose: had it expired? The answer is no, because on the palate the wine is rather nicely balanced with still some tannis left in it, nice fruity flavour with a hint of almond and grinded cherry pips, almost nothern Italy in a way. Oak, rose pepper and blackberries. Will probabely not improve with further ageing. Drink now toghether with maybe a meat dish of the lighter kind.

A bit closed on the nose with boysenberries, oak and spice. Dissapointment on the taste: Thin, young almost transparent taste of red berries, oak and white pepper. I had expected more from this wine.

This bottle was the last in the shop, been used in display, standning up in a too warm temperature setting. maybe a defective bottle not showing the potential of the wine? maybe not? if not... only 84 points.

The colour is clear with a pale greenish tone around the rim. Huge nose that hits you with almost an artificial fullness to it, gooseberry, with a hint of cream and lime.
Quite a pleasant, fresh, acid yet fruity taste of lime/grapefruit, grass and berries. Summer comes to mind. Not so full on the taste though. On the other hand a long, quite balanced, finish with a soft acid roundness.

Nice wine which would be better if it wasn’t below zero degrees outside.

A singelton needed to be consumed, poured straight from the bottle the colour is pale yellow. The nose is almost artificially strong and hits with a massive tone of gooseberry and that of a cup of finely chopped coriander. A touch of lime is also noted. The taste is quite typical sauvignon blanc, very fresh and quite balanced, not so much acidity left though, hints of tropical fruit. Medium long finish. A very good match to mussels with coriander, ginger and coconut milk. 89+ points.

Dark purple colour with a nice welcoming nose of oak, herbs and coffee. On the palate the nicely rounded acids and the quite distinct oak flavour turns into a pleasant taste with cassis and a hint of fudge, medium fullness.

With 85% petit verdot, 8% carmenère och 7% syrah. It´s a really nice wine to drink now

Extra credits for the bottle which in weight could pass for a full bottle even when empty.
