Smells like a barnyard. Taste tar, tobacco, bell pepper. Would have been in its prime 4/5 years ago. It’s lost its fruit now. Recommend drinking right away if you own this one. Would go well with smelly cheese, ribs, prime rib.

(August 2017) Aging quite well. Still has quite a bit of fruit and tannins. Easily drinkable for the next 5+ years.

Needs time in bottle. High alcohol for a Chardonnay. Needs some time to mellow. If you open now (2017) decant for a couple of hours. It does have some gorgeous fruit on it once it opens up.
