Really nice Pinot, a lot of fruit and complexity in this little gem. I still think that this wines' better times are ahead of it, will drink next bottle in a year or so.

Wine is just not very good. Terrible buy. Glad I only bought two.

Opened the bottle to cook with and figured I would try a glass.

Strange, opened the bottle the night before and unfortunately had an emergency come up so I just placed the cork in it and left it on the counter. We had it the next night and it was really good! Very smooth and the fruit showed through.

Enjoyed this wine but feel its best days are ahead of it. I will give the next bottle at least a hour decant as I found that the wine opened up as the evening progressed.

A little thin but very tasty and smooth Zin. Bottle had a bit of sediment.

Will not wait too long for my next bottle

Light on its feet with underlying cherry tones present and very smooth finish. Wine did show better with food which is fine by me.

Decanting did not help this bottle, thin with very little fruit and a lingering aftertaste that was not at all pleasing to me.

PNP, a beautiful wine from opening that only got better. Very ZIN fruit forward with lovely silky tannins, great value as usual from Seghesio Sonoma Zin.

A one hour decant made a big difference in this wine as it enabled the fruit to shine through a bit. Still a ways to go.

Drink soon as there is nothing to suggest this wine will age much longer. This wine was worth the price paid plus some but it is was much better with food, which is a plus.

A truly beautiful bottle of chianti. I feel as though this has another five years left and will wait on my next two bottles.

This bottle had very good fruit up front with well integrated tannins but it was a touch hot. I served it with lamb and a dill sauce.

Recommend a decant for about an hour or leave it alone for a year.

Very good wine with air time and great with food (meatloaf tonight)

Smooth and lean from the beginning to end. much better than the last bottle and I hope the rest are more like this one.

Went very well on its on or with food. Went great with cottage pie (but what red wine doesn't).

Basically a fairly well made wine but something about the taste was off for me. Too much chocolate on the palette for me. My wife, who has the better palette, said it improved with airtime. I would recommend a decant but this is not a buy for me.

Lovely wine, fruit forward and very smooth from the start. Went very well with pork loin and a cream mustard and pancetta sauce. Also served with mashed sweet potatoes and zucchini.

Extremely enjoyable wine! Probably last a few more years.

A little disappointing, quite astringent upon opening. Decanted for an hour and it helped some but I was still rather disappointed. Improved a bunch with dinner (roast lamb and a cream caper sauce) hence the 88.

If I was just drinking this alone I would give it an 85 or 86 (maybe more time on its side would improve). Wine was stored properly.

Very nice but needs more time (I did give it a two hour decant). Went very well with a boneless pork loin roast with a peach sauce, roasted butternut (with thyme), sautéed spinach with cashews and roasted potatoes.

Still much too young imo, but I think this will be a very good bottle of wine with two or three more years of sleep.

Now I just need to keep my hands off of the rest of them.

A little heat upon opening but calmed down after an hour or so. Good fruit and tannins and I feel this wine has a few good years left. Hope to try another in about a year and see how they are doing.

Drank too young and will wait a few years for the next

Lovely Zin, much better than last bottle. Beautiful dark fruit and integrated tannins. A nice touch of acidity keep you coming back for more...PNP.

Paired wonderfully with Marinated pork tenderloin with a smoked ham shank and shallot cream sauce, green beans and mashed sweet potatoes (with a hint of cinn and orange zest).

Brownish tint, not surprising due to it's age and lovely nose. Decanted 60 minutes.

Wine was lovely with a prime New York strip roast, blue cheese mac and asparagus. As good as it was with food I don't think I would wait much longer to drink.

Merry Christmas CT

hmmmmm, I get a different take than most. I found this bottle to be very alcohol forward with the fruit reserved. Food helped it out (served with chicken paella) but wine was still lopsided. Maybe time will help some.

Decanted for one hour

Wish I would have decanted a little longer, wine started slow but starting rocking when we had it with hunters chicken. Dark cherries exploded with tobacco and spice accents. Tannins were well integrated.

Very enjoyable
