Hard to rate, but still enjoyable drinking. My bottle had the cork almost soaked through, but I don't think air had entered. Tannins have fully resolved, still had enough of an acidic backbone. Aromas were much nicer after 1 hour double-decanted.

It has nice fruity, toasty and earth notes. However, the acidity was just a bit too much.

How do you rate a wine this old. Amazingly, still alive and got better over the hour we drank it. No tummy ache yet...

Very nice wine, considering the price I paid for it. Dark inky purple, and fruit nicely balanced the other flavours like menthol and leafiness. In a nice place but no hurry to drink. We very much enjoyed this smooth drink, on a random visit to the neighbours

Bought during our honeymoon in 2016. Cork is in perfect condition, and my bottle was drinking beautifully. Double decanted for an hour, and drank over 1.5 hours more. No rush to drink.

Very pleasant drink. Poured into glasses for about an hour before drinking with steak, and sipped the balance after. Ready to drink. Didn't feel the alcohol - nicely balanced.

Absolutely singing tonight, right out of the bottle. Super good pqr. Won't get any better, but not falling off the cliff too.

Drinking very well now. There's a hint of heat at the end. The dark fruits are front and centre. Oak has integrated nicely.

Probably slightly past peak. A bit light for a riserva. But still went well with tomato based meatballs

Very tasty, especially when slightly chilled. Sour cherries with some earth. Very light when poured, became darker with more body after 1hr of air.

Still good. Took about half an hour of decanting for the flavours to come out (perhaps cause I took it out of the fridge). Drank over 3 hours, but won't get any better.

Nice, but mine may have been past its peak. Tannins have almost disappeared, and the fruit is a little faded. Making this taste a little acidic.

First time drinking a wine from the Northern rhone. Enjoyable wine. Had the intensity of fruit of a good aussie shiraZ with more spiciness and earthiness. Drier on the palette too. Enjoyable drink!

Popped and poured at an office party. Great straight out of the bottle and for 2 hours after. Enjoyable drink but unlikely to benefit from further collaring. Kind of like a Bordeaux with a tinge of sweetness on the palate. Drank out of a magnum.

Drank this at a barbecue out of a plastic cup. But the additional time has made it a lot more delicious than my previous bottle.

Nice nose with ripe red fruit and earthy complexities. Mine fell apart quite quickly though, not sure if it was a storage issue.

very ripe style of CDP. alcohol was a little hot. not suprising for the vintage though, could do with more cellaring.

Enjoyable bottle. Drank over 3 hours. Felt a bit young at the start, and a bit old by the last glass. Bright cherry flavours with complexities

The nose was nice, predominantly red cherries and some chalkiness. But the wine was so acidic it was undrinkable. Oh well, at least it became coq au vin.
