Red
Very light and slightly effervescent. Some earthy, funky , strong notes like rubber, campfire, wet earth. Could be good chilled by the pool, I didn’t love it for dinner though
Red
Light, fruity, easy to drink, but with enough body to stand up to some food. Just what we were looking for in a beaujolais for dinner, will def buy again.
White
Really delicious. Versatile, some richness and fruit but not overwhelming, balanced, medium weight. Need to buy more.

Reminded me of California chard, rich and oaky. Did not really enjoy it, bigger than expected

This needed to breathe way longer than we let it. It was better on the 2nd and 3rd days. Next bottle should breathe for several hours I'd think.

We opened way too young. Not expressive or remarkable, hopefully just needs more time.

A little underwhelming. Nothing specifically wrong with it but nothing specifically great either. I suspect it suits a drier palette more than mine. Would prefer to let our remaining bottles sit a few more years to see how they develop.

Elegant Pinot. Higher acid, bright cherry and cranberry, earthy and a hint of something smoky. East to drink, seems versatile with a lot of food.

This was too big for us, even expecting a big wine. It was almost syrupy and we both felt like it had an over the top flavor that seemed like additive flavors.

Holding up really well at 10 years, still fresh. Well balanced, medium bodied. On the nose, dark cherries, dark berries, green herbs / menthol, a little bit gamey. Pretty savory on the palate, not a lot of fruit, easy to drink; overall clean and elegant.

Absolutely delicious - deep dark fruit, nice herbal notes. Balanced, did not feel too heavy or overdone. Bought from wine shop in Italy, shipped to US.

Tastes just like a huge Bordeaux made in California :) Really fresh still, would not have thought it was 10 years old, needs a few hours decant. Lots of dark berries, purple flowers, tobacco. Tannins were smooth, very balanced.

Just delicious. Lots of tropical notes, lemon curd, vanilla. Medium body weight but manages to feel like, nice and round from the malo but not overdone. Had in Quebec City.

A little too acidic for my taste, harder to pick up the other flavors that were subtle

Really enjoyed this. Unusually high alcohol, felt richer than many Beaujolais, 14.5%. Nose with cherry and singed wood, we’ll balanced with moderate acid, a hint of butter on the finish.

A little old in the tooth but pretty much exactly what I'd expect from a 10 year old Pinot from Sonoma

Delicious. Old school style, fun to drink. Showing its age, fruit very dark and almost sweet. Slight hint of bret
Red
Right on target. Yummy, jammy but not too much. Beautiful nose, complexity on the palate with tannins at a nice medium silky level.

Flawed. Strong sulfur odor

Had at Watch Hill Inn. A HUGE pinot, almost thick, heavy body, dark fruits. Aging really well though, showing a little age but in a great drinking window.
White
Had for Mother’s Day at North Fork table. On the nose, minerals, wet rocks, some oak but not sweet , more toasty. Medium bodied, high acid, if there is malo then it’s light handed ; pretty clean on the palate.
White
On the nose, wet rocks, slightly metallic, minerally, white flowers, ripe yellow apples. I get a little oak but it’s not overpowering, feels well integrated and gives some body and complexity. Tastes a little salty, pretty high acid, long finish. I enjoyed this, should go well with a lot of food, pretty easy to drink on its own too

Have to say we disagree with some of the other notes. Thought this wine was great for $35, great value from CdP. It’s still got a lot of life as well, probably 5-10 more years of good drinking. On the palate, deep blackberry but also savory - clear garrigue, thyme, rosemary, herbal, a little spice.

Huge wine. Tannins are very high and thick right now, add a bitter gritty note. Not the right time to drink this now, needs several more years

This is the first time I've been able to detect 'garrigue' on a wine, more specifically the rosemary really hit me on the nose. Definitely a menthol herbal quality. Brambly and woody with dark berries. Medium high tannins still, and same on the acid with a long finish. I think it's in a great drinking window right now. Just bought a few months ago, feels like an opportunity to buy and drink a solid rhone with some age on it at a reasonable price.

Rich but well balanced and still drinking great, feels like it could have another 5 years left at least. On the nose, dark cherries, chocolate, vanilla, cedar, has that 'blueberry pie' smell I like in some Napa cabs. Nice acid to balance the rich aromas and not too heavy on the palate.

Strong flavors, even for a Marsanne Roussane. Very minerally, saline, a slight metallic edge coupled with ripe tree fruits. A bit too much, heavy texture coupled with some pretty strong flavors. A second glass was tough.

nice value chardonnay. Light oak, plenty of minerals, some salinity. Medium density, but on lighter end vs. new world chardonnays. Easy drinking, light enough to be a summer wine.

After an hour and decant it was a gorgeous example of Amarone.

On the nose, dried roses, floral, dried fruits, black cherries, iron, dirt. Getting fairly thin now, limited fruit left, more leather and earth. Beautifully made to hold up so well.

Very delicious. Almost reminds me of a Sauternes . Would be great for dessert with strong cheese, lots of residual sugar but still balanced. Caramel, stewed apples, orange peel on the nose.

interesting wine for Santa Ynez valley, very different. It's a Cote Rotie style blend. Very floral, light to medium bodied. Nice change, paired well with a wide range of food.

A stunning QPR - great wine for the price. Lots of dark fruit on the nose, plus anis, garrigue; a little brambly, spicy, almost peppery. Very easy to drink, medium plus body, medium tannins, moderate acid so can be drunk with or without food. A modern style but still elegant.

Pretty classic for St Joseph, a classic style, rather than modern. Needed a couple of hours to open up, would call it high acid, dark fruits, moderate tannins

Overdone. Way too much oak. Wouldn't be surprised if there are additives in this wine. Would not recommend or buy.

Very closed when first opened, opened up over an hour. Very easy to drink for a northern Rhône red, not too tannic, well balanced, relatively simple and approachable. On the nose, dark berries, blueberry compote, purple flowers, savory notes. Easy to enjoy, goes with a lot.

A good lesson in aging an inexpensive bottle ! We enjoyed this at this point. On the nose, blackberries, black olives, green herbs. Medium body, balanced acid, fairly light tannins now. Savory.
