First experience of a Rosé from Beaujolais. On opening it didn’t give much away so I decanted it. This improved it almost immediately. Some cherry/berry fruit and a good length. Enjoyable.

Shared 4 bottles with our neighbors on Friday Wine Online. Opened and decanted about an hour and a half before drinking. Had a wee taste on opening. Dark and closed with fruit lurking in the background. On tasting later fruit more to the fore. Dark fruits, leather a little cedar. Lovely was the verdict from all 8 participants

An absolute WOW wine. Too young for sure. Decanted two hours. Dark fruits. Crunchy, tannic but silky also. Great fruit at the heart. Bought a bottle of Clos D’Ora after trying this one.

Opened and decanted one hour. Should have been at least two. Young, closed but will open up nicely with time. Tannins are fine with underlying fruit. Bought another 4 (all my local had) to cellar.

Second bottle. As before pre dinner. Wine cabinet 9 degrees so not fridge cold. Pale, buttery nose. Good mouth feel and initial flavour but a little hollow then long finish? Good for the price and would buy more.

Decanted one hour. I enjoyed it but my least favourite of the range. Possibly because it was the youngest and I should have left it a couple of years to develop as it was quite closed off. Will buy more but cellar.

Fantastic. I drank many bottles of this back around 1985. It was the wine that got me hooked on Bordeaux so amazed to find some now 35 years later. Opened with a Durand perfectly and decanted about an hour before dinner. Small taste upon opening. Good colour, still red not yet brown even on the rim. Old nose and slightly raisined taste. An hour later more attractive nose. On the palate soft fruit and a good length. 41 years young.

Served with pan fried chicken in a morel sauce from RS on Sunday Brunch. (Lovely). The wine was okay but a bit disappointing. It just seemed to lack something, hollow in the mid palate. I wouldn’t buy again.

Low level, corroded capsule and leaking so low expectations. Got the cork out in one piece thanks to my Durand. Decanted. A little red, maderised nose. On the palate clearly past it but a hint of something good in it. A better level bottle would probably be good.

Opened and decanted one hour. Served in Riadel Pinot glasses. Served with saffron pasta, roasted garlic and hazelnut. Bright but light rim with a purple tinge. Predominantly cherry nose same on the palate with a hint of pepper spice. Slight sting of acidity. Tannin note quite integrated yet. Good stuff.

Bought today and straight in the fridge. Popped three hours later. Very pale colour. As expected more subtle Sauvignon Blanc aromas. Some minerality. On the palate a slightly harsh edge drying the mouth. Probably wouldn’t buy again.
