superb, huge wine that was incredible for all 4 of my bottles. One day we'll know who was behind the genius of this bottle/vintage.

Wow what a surprise. One of the best QPR wine finds of 2023. Fresh Pinot Noir, very pure an amazing mouthfeel with a finish that makes it hard to wait for another sip.

Remarkable wine. 1.5 hours in the decanter, poured over a two hour period. The wine continued to improve right up to last glass.

One word, WOW! Everything you'd expect from a wine of this pedigree and vintage. If you own any of these, you are very lucky and will be pleased when you decide to enjoy them.

After nearly 4 years of cellaring this wine has come together nicely. There is better integration of fruit, more depth and less sweetness of its youth. Its a Zin, Cab Franc and Syrah blend that just needed time become a very good wine.

Wow! Blown away by this bottle tonight, clearly this wine has come into its own. The last bottle I opened was in Oct. 2018 and wasn't nearly as ripe, rich and developed as this bottle. It's interesting how the CT reviews on the wine have improved, I guess I'm not alone in the taste experience. The uncorking was a disaster, broke the damn thing into a dozen pieces, add in some colorful language - the first fail of 2021... Wine made me feel better!

Purchased 6 btls in Sept. 2016. Tonight I drank my 5th bottle and I believe this is the first bottle to get my attention as something i really enjoyed. Seems to have integrated nicely, still full of fruit, but in balance with the oak and remaining tannins.

There's something very non-Sauvignon Blanc about this wine. Not a winner, even at the low cost the QPR isn't very good.

Big and bold fruit forward, well made with a nice balance of the 12 varieties. This is a first impression, looking forward to subsequent tastings.

Outstanding - well worth the wait. I don't know how anyone could say this wine was beyond the drinking window, plenty of dark velvety fruit perfectly integrated with oak and soft tannins. Sadly my last bottle...

Still a dog with fleas- I really wanted to like this but with 5 bottles consumed an 1 to go it just never lived up the merchant's sales hype. I'll be glad to be rid of them, bought 6 of them in July of 2017, and they were all marginal to unpleasant.

much improved, clearly Merlot heavy in its mid life- good drinker now if you bought them reasonable. You may wish to wait if you like right bank styles in their prime. Dammit a man has to decide to pop a cork one day....

They cant all be winners, I would not recognize this as a Rhone blend by taste. This current bottle has a touch of TCA, it might actually be better....

Finally, it only took 14 years in the bottle and an hour or so of open time for this wine to meet my expectations. Surprisingly Bordeaux like in its weight not thin but clearly a single varietal. Best bottle to date, 2 to go....

This was my 5th bottle of 6 purchased 11/13. This wine never developed, lacked fruit and failed to open up into a KW classic. I don't know why my experiences vary so greatly from other tasting notes. With one bottle left, I'll try again in six months.

Easy to drink, fruit is slipping away and has left a very dry wine with a slightly chalky tannic finish. The last reviewer gave it a 91, wish I had his bottle!

The ranking is a bit arbitrary, had 6 of these and wrote them off as being 2011 casualties. No secret about 2011, but this wine may be the one of the few with I had with any sort of depth and style. Glad the vintage is behind us. Thanks for '12,13 and 14.

No explaining how or why this wine was so good this evening. It is hitting on all measures, a touch of brett, lots of really deep cherry, good acid and solid finish. Far better than many of the pricier Italians in my cellar. Wow...

Still tasty after all these years... The youthful cherry of Pinot is all but gone, the wine is still interesting with subdued fruit and a tart finish. Dark almost black purple, with an clear rim. I wouldn't want to have a bunch of these left at this point, a nice farewell.

Still freaking delicious, your results may vary. (Learned that from the car guys.) Youthful color, nice deep garnet. Silky with a slightly chalky aka tannic finish. No complaints about a wine that was supposed to be beyond it's drinking window. I wish I had more.....

Very good wine, and at a very good place in it's maturity. Plenty of well rounded fruit, soft tannins and enough acid to keep it interesting. Paired well with platter of Italian meats and cheeses, great combo.

Kind of a fruitless wonder. I had a previous vintage that was really good juice, this just doesn't seem to much of anything. Will see how the bottle does overnight. Funny comment about the capsule by Bill & Tina below, they are right - its a bit like aluminum siding.

Remarkable, rich almost Sauternes like without a hint of sweetness. Made the mistake of over chilling and then had to wait till it almost returned to room temp for the wine really show. Don't remember any of the other bottles being this unique.

Honeysuckle w/ a light peach and melon flavor, mouth coating richness and body. Agree with others that a little acid would go a long way in brightening the overall experience. Not what I'd look to as a crisp refresher, way too viscous and concentrated.

Very well made and delicious cabernet. Opened and decanted 3 hours before drinking. Great nose, almost a sweet perfume - terrific pure cab flavor without being dense or cloying. I'll wait a while before I open another, but very good now.

Super jammy / gobs of fruit, the 15.5% ABV doesn't seem to be as problematic as earlier vintages it might help offset some of the richness. This is an unusually big wine that you have to be ready for.

One way or another this needs a little time in the cellar or at least a good aerate before consuming. This is likely to be one of the best $15 bottles in the cellar, it has all the makings of a really enjoyable Rhone blend.

Purchased in June of 2010. Drank 6 bottles over five years and the 6th and final bottled showed the best. This was a tannic monster in its youth, they've finally softened and really integrate with fruit that's still abundant. Wish I had more, isn't that how it always goes.

WOW- Who knew the time between my last bottle (7/2010) and this one would be so different. So much complexity, lots of dark fruit, perfectly integrated oak and a big hit of Rutherford. This was a 375ml, so I don't know how my experience translates to 750's. If you have them, you will not be disappointed.

It's a pop and pour, and nothing more. Day one, a nice fresh simple Chianti with defined fruit. Day two, diminished fruit to the point of bitter tartness. Okay at the price point, don't expect it to be more than what it is.

Good grief these reviews covered every fruit in the market! Currents, raspberry, strawberries, black fruits , red fruits cherry, plums, cassis then throw in cedar spice box cigar cola and butterscotch.... Wow! I go for black cherry and a liitle cola very Sangiovese overall, and always a very good value. Enjoy=

A big mouthful of rich white wine. I agree with the stone fruit flavors, along with honey and an almost Sauterne like finish. I think a little more acid would balance the whole package out. 6 more bottles to figure this out.
