This is a perfect version of what it is. raspberry perfume that goes down like rainwater. Drank over two nights, somehow.

I had four of these in the last few years and they all felt tired. Then this, my last bottle, was terrific! It was exactly what I'd want from a not overly pricey 13 year old Bonnezeaux. And now they're all gone! Well, whatcha gonna do?

Terrific Muscadet. Gaining a bit of weight from the last bottle, this is a winner. Minerals, citrus, and a bit more silky than most of the varietal.

Gorgeous wine. Lush, lush strawberry with some nice earthy notes beneath.
I drank a bottle of this 8 months ago and was unimpressed. But, wow, this was much better.

What a terrific value. Fall half-way between chenin and sauv blanc, with a little bit of sourness (which I like here).

Really beautiful stuff. Just pretty as can be. Nice red fruits, a bit of dough, not bone dry, well-balanced. I could drink this once a week for the rest of my life. Happy, happy, wine. It's perfectly what it is.
Baker missed it, Tanzer didn't.

Boring, boring wine. It's not really bad, just boring. A bit lean, but the frame is ok. Just nothing really to fill it in.

Really not bad at all. Needed an hour of air, then it has a little bit of that tar and flowers Barbaresco nature plus some black cherry and earthiness. It's a bit muddled, but it comes together enough to make it a good value for $12.
I'd be disappointed if I spent $25, but as its current TJ's price, I'd buy again if dinner called for it, though I wouldn't call it a case buy either.

My notes echo Cole's. It's ok, but nothing stellar, even for the affordable price.

Nothing mind-blowing, but exactly what under $20 Chinon should be.

Delicious. Like a Sauv Blanc minus citrus + herbal spice and a lot richer.
I have no idea if it will age, but it's good now.

I had this 3 years ago, and it was memorable then and is again today. While the best way to describe it 3 years ago (and this is not my term) was "technicolor," this is definitely evolving. The tropical fruit is still there, but it's starting to relax, while lovely spice and nut notes are joining in. Concentrated and long, this is beautiful wine. As a matter of comparison, I much preferred this to the NV Krug I had last month.

It's nearly 100 degrees today, and this hit the spot. Steely minerality, some greenness, something honeyed (but not sweet), something slightly bitter. Very dry, refreshing, and more interesting than 95% of dry whites at this price-point.

Hedonistic berries, vanilla. It is port-like, but seems rather balanced despite the 15.5.
Totally not my style of wine, but admittedly pleasurable.

Nicely balanced, fruit-driven. Very approachable after an hour's decant.
Good wine, if not particularly expressive of Cornas. I liked it, but I'm glad I got it at a deep discount.

Really nice little QPR! Apples and apricots, honeyed sweetness and enough acidity to taste good now or to lay down for at least a few. Bot very complex, but really pleasurable. Would buy again.

An intense Muscadet that will benefit from 6 more months to soften the edges. Strong elements of mineral and salinity with a small drop of lemons and a fiery nature. Great, great value.

Found for $5 in an end-bin, this wine was rich, fresh and delicious. A deep and bright nose leads to a wine with richness suited to a well-aged and well-made chardonnay matched with focused acidity and a moderate finish. some of the table's notes included sea-spray, mushrooms, lemon, and caramel.

A very enjoyable Barbaresco. Beautifully perfumed: dried flowers, cherries, and something of a mix between black licorice and tar.
Palate is fairly light-weight and slightly sweet with silky cherries and dark Nebbiolo dusky spice in the background.

I really WANTED to like this bottle. I like Randy's philosophy and other wines of his. This was really not that interesting. Some cranberry and sweet cherry with some obvious oak-vanillin. Not terrible, but just not very good. Especially for the money. Maybe it will improve with age?

There are better bottles to be had from Mount Pleasant.
OK to chill the heck out of and serve at a pool party or with spicy food.
