This is pretty much right there. Tannins faded, acid super present with the fruit. I have 3 more, I don’t know where this is gonna go, so the next time I have one if it seems like I can’t visualize what’s going to happen, I think drink up! It’s a bottle a year wine.

Hope this is useful: I was at a wine makers dinner tonight in Toronto with the wine maker, who I believe was the grandson. We tasted the 2015, 2010, 2005, 2000, and 1989 from Magnum. I have some magnums and double magnums of the 2008,2009,2010. So the main reason for attending the dinner was to approximate the ideal drinking window. The winemaker said that 8-10 years after the vintage was a good bet in general for 750s. What he said that really surprised me was that for pipeau, 2009 will outlive the 2010s due to the acidity, which to me, seems opposite to the usual trend for the region. He said 5 more years for my 2010s and 8 more for my 2009s (in magnums).

Candy cane as the only scent present on the nose. Massive rose pedals would be my contribution to the taste. My wife says pink pepper as the forward contributor.

3.5-4/5

The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smellsand tastes like blackberry, raspberry, forest floor, bark, fur and meaty. The body is medium/full. The wine has angular texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

First taste pnp. Bizarre. Tastes like cheap tomato sauce with balsamic I’m thinking flawed.

Lacking fruit and sort of bitter. Mostly acid and tannin. Not garbage, but not great. Definitely drink in a wine emergency. Or if it’s what you opened. :)

Top three Shiraz so far in my young wine life. Tastes super full and unfiltered. Almost cab like in structure. Tones of tannin and dark red fruit. Drink next of three remaining mags in 8-16-30 DP

sean is cool. I don't know. Alright. Full and jammy. Dark berry fruit flavour like like prunes.. and then, it had a lot of structure in terms of , yeah it really did! Lots of structure in terms of the tannins. The only thing that I am not sure is if the oak or the tannins are poking through, but I have no idea how it will age. First "higher end" Italian Chard I have tasted.. good, popular at dinner, I think it is worth the money. Held its own against the other whites of the evening.

Drank at the italian dinner with Rick Joel Dianne anthony Victor and Joe.

I liked the other two champagnes better, but this was popular. Good, but would not seek out again.

Delicious, but everyone though it was a fake bottle due to the fact that it had no characteristics of an aged Sauternes. RP says that the 75s are long aging, but I have to say this tasted very young.

So good, tropical fruit notes. Not massive acid. Very enjoyable. Maybe more food next time, as Paul mentioned it is a great food wine. Sean mentioned it was similar to the PM Ontario chard. A testament to winemaking>terroir
