Still got its fruit. Open with a little petro on the nose, then bloomed to notes of Minerality, Honey & Lemon. Not to sweet less than a demi sec.

Was a little disappointed in what this wine should be. Lacked full body in my opinion. Perhaps still too young.

Beautifully Balanced Wine. A blanc de blanc was so soft. Still nice effervescence with nice combination of yeast and citrus. As a 2004 still has plenty of years left in it. So good I ordered more.

Prum keeps doing it. Beautiful notes of appricot, pear and pineapple. Drinks of white peach and pineapple but very soft and delicate. Vicosity is spot on. Just a beautiful wine. Drink with spicy asian or mediterranean food.

on the nose is very mineral and citrus. for the 1st 20 minutes it drank very fruity/citrus with notes of pineapple and lemon. I let it warm up a little and notes turned to earthy and floral. Like ground cover meets hibiscus. Wine still has plenty of acid so probably would have a few more good years. Too Bad I only have 1 bottle left.

Should have decanted. Opened with hint of vanilla and rock fruit and grew to a more mineral and earthy complexity. Wine has a good 5-10 years left on the shelf.

Plenty of balance to this wine. Needed some air as the tannins are still very young. This wine could use another 5 years. Bright stone fruit on this wine. This will mature to a very enjoyable well balanced wine.

This bottle needed 2 hours of decant. Initially the nose was very petrolium with some honey and apricot. AFter some time the Petrolium note disapated and the wine began to open up showing notes of honey, apricot and peach. While this bottle of d'yquem was not as outstanding as the 83 or the 90 it is still a beautiful wine worth the d'yquem name.

This wine was very golden in color for a Rose'. as an 06 this wine is getting towards its end as the fruit has mellowed out. However, the nice minerality of the wine is still there and it drinks lovely. This was a good buy. I think I might wait until this summer when it gets hot and have it with some fresh fruit and cheese out on the deck.

This wine was very unique as the initial nose had a somewhat petrol distinction with back notes of citrus but tasted nothing like the nose. The initial taste was all over tangerine and a citrusy acid at the finish. Real pretty wine a great example as to what Reisling is really all about and its versatility not only in taste but ability as well. Interestingly enough if you let this wine sit in your glass for more than 30 minutes the nose tured to lemon and the tangerine completely disappeared. Do not decant, let sit in your glass for 5-10 minutes and drink it. Any Asian or spicy food would be great also a nice pot a creme with fruit. Gonna let this one sit atleast another 5-10 years.
