Seem slightly one-dimensional with only ripe juicy berries coming through even after giving in time (~2 hours) in the glass. Great smooth velvety texture though. Would have liked abit more spice, tannins and a longer finish. In 2 minds whether this will improve with additional age, as the bold fruit and alcohol seem to indicate it can, but a lack of balance and complexity seems to indicate otherwise.

This is still too young but showing its potential with balanced minerality and acidity. Needs another 2 years at least.

Took a little time in the glass before aromas of candied cherries, tobacco and earth. Seems to have past the drinking window as the medium-bodied texture seems a off balance with oak and acid overpowering the minimal fruit left. Still drinkable, but definitely going downhill.

Great aromas of honey and palate of bright ripe fruits, citrus and grapefruit. Certainly punching above its price point!

Simple, straight-forward village. Primarily fresh fruit flavours with high acidity giving a nice finish.

Still very young and only started opening up after an hour or so. Hardly had a nose when opened but developed fruit and leather aromas thereafter. Great balance of licorice, cherries, spice and leather. Enjoyable fruit tannins and just right amount of acidity albeit on the warm side. Overall showing great potential for a revisit after years in the cellar.

Much much better than the previous tasting which confirmed the suspicion that earlier bottle was flawed. Aromas of ripe dark fruits with palate of savoury fruits and leather. Heavy-bodied with soft tannins

Sweet pear and notes of caramel on the nose. On the palate there were delicious notes of fruit and caramel with well balanced acidity, minerality and creamy long finish. This almost reminds me of a chassange Montrachet and may certainly hold its own beside one if it had just slightly longer stamina in the glass. But overall still drinking beautifully.

Slightly better than I remembered, probably due to pairing with richer food, but still not a 93 pointer. Nose of blackberries. Hits the palate with a sweetness followed by a little spice and a little chocolate. Seemed to lack body with absence of tannins. Maybe this just has a very short drinking window.

Still possessing a dark ruby colour I the glass, but alcohol has obviously soften with hardly any legs. Bouquet of dried herbs and wood with some hints of fruit. Still possessing good structure at 30 years old with a subdued plums and black currants, leather and spice. Backed by a good tannic structure and slight acidity for an overall balanced wine. This felt about the end of its drinking window as it started to lose fruit after 2 hours. However, structure and tannic backboned stood firm and it still remained a highly drinkable wine.

Fresh young nose of sweet ripe fruits and immediately giving away its Grenache base. Medium-bodied with lots of red fruit on the palate with pleasant fruit tannins lingering to give it a nice finish. Certainly enjoyable at this price point. This can probably be cellared for another 1-2 years.

Dark murky purple in the glass. Beautiful nose of ripe blackberries and strawberries with hints of earth and spice. Full-bodied with smooth tannins and good structure of fleshy prunes followed by hints of leather and savoury grilled flavours and finishing with spicy chilli and minerality. Nice long mouth watering finish. Can probably be cellared for a good many years more.

Pale yellow/gold with bright full aromas of honey and fresh white flowers. Crisp acidity with balanced richness and weight from the alcohol. Palate of grapefruit and minerals. Very enjoyable full-bodied White CDP! This can probably be cellared for another 2-3 years.

Not sure if the bottle was flawed. Honestly rather disappointed here albeit the low price point. Nose was promising with dark cherries, earth and leather. On the palate though the fleshy dark fruit flavours and spice was fleeting with iron and acid left behind. Disjointed structure and short finish.

Dark rich purple in the glass. Nose of grass and mint. Started off slightly closed with tight tannins. Started showing savoury roasted dark fruit flavours and licorice after airing for 15min. Some hints of minerality.

Reddish orange, translucent rims and low viscosity. Not getting at fruit aromas, but more of a soy sauce and yeasty nose. Vanilla and grilled savoury pepper flavours. Noticeable tannins which were well integrated. Seems to be past its peak.

Grapefruit and petroleum notes on the palate at the start. With a little bit of air (~30min), some sweet tropical fruit flavours started to surface with slight minerality. No surprises, but approachable and ready to drink. Probably reasonable value.

Fruit nose with a slight mushroom aroma. Full-bodied and too rounded for my liking, lacking in tannins for character. Roasted dark fruit flavours giving it a savoury fruit-forward palate. However, it seemed to lose steam after 2 hours with fruit flavours dissipating and leaving behind too much acid and too little fruit.

Last of my 3 bottles and regretting I didn't get more. Excellent example of good wine from a weak year. Perfumed aromas of plum mixed with smoke. Silky full-bodied texture with beautiful flavours of blackcurrant and herbs.

Definitely a bottle that can do with more cellaring, but showing good potential with its strong fruit flavours and tannins.

Came across younger than the same vintage les suchots with tighter tannins and bolder fruit flavours. However, started to develop nicely and seems like it can be cellared for a couple more years.

Brownish red initially, but it seem to gain colour as it aired and was deep purple by the end of 3 hours. Nice aromas of smoky floral cinnamon. Started lighter with flavours of berries and pepper which developed towards a heavier body as it aired and revealing soft well-integrated tannins.
