Pretty much pop and pour. Not too much tannins. Nice complexity. Got better 1/2 hour after opening but overall lovely wine and totally ready to drink.

Wonderful complexity. Took a solid 1/2 hour to loosen up. After an hour there was so much fruit. Great to drink now

Perhaps the finest Bordeaux I have had. Perfect drinking window. Balanced with ruby notes. Decanted and needed maybe half hour to show its full potential. Fabulous!

Overall, it’s a nicely crafted wine. I continue to be disappointed with Darioush in that I think that they are generally over-priced and more about presentation than content. This wine is no exception. It is as good as it’s going to get but it is far from exceptional.

I am putting this out there.... this wine cost me $14/bottle in 2008. It rocks. It is better than some first growths I have in my cellar from 2005. Hard to believe. I would give it higher than an 89 but nobody would believe me!

Call me crazy, but this is a wonderful Merlot! I’ve had it in my cellar for 10 years and decided to pull it out. I did not decant or let it go more than 1/2 hour. Fabulous! Balanced, great fruit and among the best Merlot’s I’ve had. Go figure.

It took a little while to open up. I would recommend at least 1/2 hour. Once it did, it was Dunn at it's best. Beautiful balance and fruit... really a classic California Cab.
