Spiced and dark fruits on the nose, soft tannins, a bit volatile upon opening but after a couple hours in the bottle was perfect. Significantly faded in flavor by the end of the bottle; do not decant or risk overshooting this wine.

Aged 5 years (8 total), decanted; moderate sediment. intense notes of cedar (almost came across as leather) hints of dark fruits. Zero finish which was disappointing. Paired amazingly well with fromager d’affinois goat Brie.

Very good Pinot good balance and nice notes of ripe dark fruit. Medium bodied with modest tannins did not improve from decanting. Very light sediment. Too weak to pair with food stronger than seafood, best consumed on its own where it would truly shine. Average finish leaves more to be desired.

Dark ruby off dry nose of dark fruits (plum?) and alcohol: 15% definitive leather taste (pleasant). Med-long finish. Benefited by decanting 1hr: mild astringent éléments smoothed out. Very complex wine for the price. Wish I had a case...

Good notes of spice good nose and concentrated flavor. The intensity of the wine is a bit lacking especially when compared to older vintages of the same bottle (2011 is excellent). Taste fades at an average pace.
