Blackberry, blueberry, chocolate, leather, coffee, tobacco, notes of barnyard; smooth, rich, mouth-filling, sudden and expansive yet also light and elegant, tannins present but considerably mellowed, fruits still present but fading and balanced tobacco elements; a very long balanced gradually descending receding finish that extends on and on; a mature well-aged claret, ready to drink and delightful

Cassis, mild notes of graphite; pure cassis on palate aksi; too young and too much fruit; opens up slightly after two hours of air but definitely preferable to wait quite some time before drinking; in contrast, the 2012, when tasted at a similarly young age, was relatively drinkable and pleasing

Ripe raspberry, cherry, violets, roses, incredibly fruitful and bright nose for the age; age a reasonable sense of sous on palate, light to medium weight but with depth, balance and elegance, fairly long lingering finish, pleasing, mature, a little thin but with notable presence

Color still full, lively; cigar box, pine, cedar, leather, blackberry tart, earthy, beautiful, classic and poised
On palate, elegant, full yet light, lovely, but somewhat muted, with seemingly limited remaining fruit
After 1 Hour: Nose similar; ruby fruits emerging on palate, succulent, with an extremely, and almost tingly, finish

Smooth, long, elegant, silky, refined; reasonable fruit remaining but thinning; not an overwhelming presence or experience, but certainly excellent; fully mature and definitely time to drink
Over the first two hours: gradually opening up further but then thereafter somewhat disintegrating on palate towards tobacco and leather
