Light brown to crimson in color with hints of cherry and dark fruit. Paired very well with our tri tip. Not as big a mouth feel as most other pinots from WS. Had a medium finish with some legs. Towards the lighter side of wines they produce.

A beautiful straw color wine that burst out of the glass when poured. One of the best Chardonnays I have ever tasted. The minerality and acid cut through the richness of the crab. Mouthfeel was outstanding and left us wanting for more after each taste. Highly recommended for those who appreciate this variety. Layers of meadow, citrus fruit and lemon with an aroma you could smell from 10 feet away...

This cab franc was a deep amber color. It was a little thin to my taste with not a lot of body. Maybe it needed more time to decant or just more time to age. I normally like most wines from Sarzotti and feel the bat over their price.

An amazing color of dark, clear garnet red. It smells like black currant (cassis) and blackberry. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and clove with earthy flavor abounding. The body is medium with a long polished finish. The longer it was decanted the more pronounced the aroma became. We have many WS pinots in our collection, but this is one we really like!!!

We drank this after finishing the 2017 vintage. It was smoother, with my refined flavors and a much bigger mouth feel. Not necessarily a better, but much more relaxed profile with two more years. Color was much darker and would take this one over the 2017 no questions asked.

This was the first time we had ever tried Halter's Grenache Blanc. We were very impressed by what we were drinking. The wine looks light gold colored. It smelled of grapefruit, honeydew and lemon and tasted much the same on the palate. Very refreshing taste when paired with the richness of our dungeness crab. The acidity in this wine helped tone down the meal for us.

Wonderful pairing with our ribeye steaks that matched up perfectly. One of Gary Eberle's better cabs. Smooth mouthfeel, nice initial taste with a wonderful finish that lingers after drinking. For this price it's a great value. Doesn't have the cachet of other Paso Robles vineyards, but don't be fooled into believing this wine can't hold it's own.... Very enjoyable.

As good a syrah as you will taste out of Paso. Kevin hit a homerun with this bottling. Great mouthfeel, long finish, silky smooth. Dark purple, almost inky, with long legs. Upon pouring after decanting for 2 hours it filled the room with an amazing smell that drew us in like a moth to a lamp. It stood up to the fat in the steak and made us lust for another glass. It you want to taste among the best in a Paso syrah, this is it!!!

This is not among the best tannats we've had, but was good with our BBQ. Not as complex, nor with the big mouth feel we normally have with this varietal.

Outstanding bottle. Drank the 2013 two nights ago, then this 2017. I can pick up smoke in this bottle, although it's a good thing from my perspective. Poured and drank perfectly for us. Mouthfeel was lush with a nice long finish...

Outstanding bottle that gives off a very different flavor profile than other WS Pinot. Light amber color that portrays soft mouthfeel, medium long finish becomes even better when paired with food, although very drinkable alone.

Although a year younger than the 2011, I found this year to be much better than the 2011 vintage. Much of the same characteristics of the 2011, but much smoother and softer on the palate with less pronounced tannins. Outstanding to my taste. Well worth the money spent on this.

Soft mouthfeel & tannins with a velvety finish. Berries, fruit and dark overtures of currants with moderate spice. Decanted it for two hours and enjoyed it with 4 hours of 70’s rock n’ roll while relaxing with my wife. Turned out to be the perfect pairing!!! 😎🍷
