Orange brown, quite bright.
Initial quite meaty, dark, leathery notes. Quite generous body, high acidity and present but round tannins.
Opens up a bit after some time. More fruity notes like cherry and roses. Hint of wet paint and liquorice.

First day notes of pine, green bell pepper and some red fruit. A bit funky.
Stored in fridge over night and the wine opened up. Lots of black berries but still some leafy notes. Much more fruit - and good balance.

Red-brownish
On the nose both dark and red fruit, black currant leaves, some oak and a bit meaty.
On the palate very balanced, high acidity, typical CF with some green notes in the after taste which is long and elegant.

Really good.

Blueberry, plums, cherry and strawberries - all ripe and almost sweet. At the same time more robust notes as earth, oak and pine. There is also a hint of paint or petroleum or some kind of minerality. It just delivers, roses...more and more..
On the palate high acidity with a hint of tannins and some oak. Quite long aftertaste where the fruit actually is present together with the secondary aromas.

Lovely,. Decanted about 2h prior to dinner. Matched duck with sourcraut and prunes perfect.
