Last of the blind white wines. Theme was new world Chardonnay.

Deep golden yellow, definitely showing some age, easily over ten years. Super interesting nose, have never smelt a white like this before. Notes of chalk, cinnamon, cocoa, honeycomb, candied tropical fruits and brioche. Medium and well balanced acidity (5.5/10) and medium bodied. A bit toasty on the palate with some candied green apples and tangy lemon curd. Medium to medium plus finish. Drink till 2020.

Medium golden yellow and tiny bubbles. Rich nose with notes of candied pineapple, brioche, baked apples and a little nutty. Full bodied with an odd texture to the acidity (5.5/10). Seems to taste older than a 2008 with honeycomb, almonds, tart lemon and a touch of sweet richness. Seems to need a little more time at the end of the long finish. Drink till 2022

Sadly there was something off with this bottling. Cork came out completely soaked and sticky.

Deep garnet red with lighter edges. Interesting nose to say in the least, almost maderia-like. Coated with sour cherries, sour strawberries, twigs and newspaper. A lot of acidity with medium plus tanins (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Overly cloyed and sweet on the attack of the palate with cherries, dark and bitter spices, tobacco and toasted wood chips. Medium plus and gravelly finish. Not sure on drinking dates and no score given, just all around off.
