6/18/22, 7:00 PM - Thanks, Woodie. Just now seeing your note from May, and glad to hear you enjoyed similar things in this wine. I’m a fan of the Produttori Riservas, and this is a good one. Thanks again for the quote.
11/21/21, 3:02 PM - Thx for the kind remarks srh, and I really appreciate the vintage info! Love the northern Italians.

7/30/21, 7:34 AM - Hi jeagle, and thx for the comment. Yes, I’m very familiar with the Monastrell-Graciano mix up in Paso Robles lol. It affected the 2015 and 2016 vintages from a variety of producers, and I still have a handful of mislabeled bottles from both years I’ve been holding onto. A good wine-lore story for sure.
7/31/21, 6:46 AM - My review lists 32% Monastrell :)
7/14/21, 1:26 PM - Thanks srh. Nice article, good winemaking notes. I appreciate the link.
5/24/21, 8:31 AM - Thanks for the comment. The flavor evolution throughout a 4-hr decant was amazing. It really benefits from air, suggesting many good years ahead. The Napa 2016s in general are some good wines.
1/3/21, 5:45 PM - Thanks, IAMANDYC. Your note sounds familiar to me as well.
12/12/20, 9:04 PM - You’re welcome. Our first bottle of this vintage, very enjoyable.
9/8/20, 2:41 PM - Thanks for the comment, and yes, I feel lucky. I bought it at release, and have been reading all the mixed reviews ever since. I opened it last night with low expectations — and no small sense of dread lol — so you can imagine my surprise. I wonder if bottle variance issues that could explain such a wide array of reactions(?).
1/1/20, 10:16 PM - Thanks for the comment, Winelover. I agree that Revana produces excellent wines, year after year. The older vintages you mentioned are all drinking very well indeed.
12/28/19, 11:38 AM - Thx MJP. Blankiet says the window extends to 2029, and I find no reason to disagree. It’s in the middle of the window, enjoy your bottles at your pace.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
