All floral on the nose, super sweet tropical flowers. Passionfruit. A bit fat, acid:body inadequate. Drink up, this is not going for the long haul.

Night and day against the Morgeot of same year. Pear, good body of minerality.

Cork totally soaked through. Nearly slid into the bottle when I inseted the screw. Wine in good condition, didn't expect this. Nice overall balance. Nice sap. Baritone elegance. Nice for a village wine 12 years on.

Well past its prime. Fruit stripped away, acid core remaining. Interesting, but would not go out of my way to drink this again.

Petrol on opening. Very light in color. Good acid-fruit balance. Little bit ill-defined, in an awkward transitionary stage perhaps?

Not a huge fan of these trocken higher pradikat bottlings. Should have left some residual sugar inthere and not forced the fermentation all the way through. Better today than upon opening yesterday. WIll chekc back in in a couple days to see where it goes.

Nice food wine. Nothing spectacular when I pulled out of cellar. After giving it two hours to warm up it has begun to unfold, leather, toasty oak, good acidity, briary black fruit. Best with a place of very rich meat-based pasta, the perfect foil. Just good, not great.

Ver much like this wine, and JM Boillot in general. Pommard a bit more rustic than the Volnay. Equally satisfying, but in a different way!

Round and perfectly drinkable at 7.5% alcohol, not over bearing with RS. Perfectly OK, not outstanding

Bit too much oak for my taste, but like all the other dimensions of this wine. Believe it could probably do well with another 5 years rest.

Realy liking this wine right now. Picked up a couple bottles at HK airport Watson's, will grab another 1/2 case. Purple/blueish color. Full of blue and red fruit. Nice acidity.

Can't quite tell whether this is totally backwards, or slightly off. Think it might be the later. Danger of 375mLs. Will wait a couple more years before trying another 375mL, 3L at least 10 years.

Would assign more points based on the value:quality, really excellent, better than many pedigreed white rhones. Pit fruit, citrus blossom, nectarine peel. High % alcohol content but not at at all hot. Would really be interested to see how this might evolve in a few years time.

Seems to be in a bit of a dumb phase. Nice core of deep fruit, good overall balance indicates good potential for cellaring.

First experience with amarone as it is meant to be. INitially very aussie-shiraz-like, bit rubbery and tarry, this blew off. Definitely better on day two. Deep dark brooding fruit, chocolate, eucalyptus/tiger balm, faintest hint of ginger/tamarind tea. Definitely need to start laying down for amarones.

Way overoaked, almost impossible to drink. My CA co-diners really liked this, guess they are accustomed to this sort of thing.

Great price to value on this. Earthy, but in a good way. Coniferous, black fruit, loam. Nice acid:fruit:tannin balance which leads me to believe this is one worth following over the next 10+ years.

Probably paid to much for this through IWM HK. Eight years out and this has still not found its balance, doubt it ever will. To heavy with the oak, a bit overwhelming. See how it does overnight after re-corking.

Like this a lot, but it in an infant. One coud almost be loooking at a single small scotch, given the color. Even the first hint of nose offers the slightest soisson of a peaty scotch. Digging my nose in: musky citrus, specifically under ripe graipfruit. Very rich mouthfeel, cream and honey. Re-corked and pu back in fridge for tomorrow, expec this will come together over the next two days.

Not impressive. Drank @ Mortons in HK. This wine seems to suffer very easily from poor transport/storage, experiences in Asia have been both hit and miss. Premature 2nd'ary charactertics, bit thin.

Classic CNDP. Spiciness understated. Nice high tones, good low tones, missing a little bit of stuffing in the middle. Would recommend drinking this over the next 2-4 years, still in need of a little integration.
