Intensely rich and fruity. Very dense purple color. Quite oaky and a lot of vanilla, but arguably in balance when there is so much fruit.

Dominated by dark fruit, cassis, etc. A little black olive if you use your imagination. Tannins are ripe and smooth, medium structure overall – enough to keep your mouth happy, but not make you pucker. Well done. Great value!

Lots of cherry. Tannins and acid are quite “hello!” but not out of balance. Just a little black olive and damp cellar.

Drinking really well now. The structural components really dance around in your mouth , and the fruit is bright and fresh as ever.

This is really a fantastic value. Drinks like a $30 Merlot. Nice red fruit, mainly cherry. Some green notes and structure that makes me wonder if there's some Cab Sauv/Franc in the blend.

First and foremost, this wine is just delicious. Enjoy it. Dark cherries on nose, a touch of pine tar, some vanilla and oak on palate.

Nice black fruit, black current, olive, a hint of dill pickle, silky, lovely vanilla oak. Body is a little thin. With better structure this wine would murder.

What I wish my typical $100 Bordeaux purchase tasted like. Has some musty cellar on nose. Rich, tart fruit on palate. Some dark fruit too, maybe black currant. Plenty of structure for you structure whores.

Generous noise of dark berries, vanilla and black pepper. Quite dry on palate. The rich fruit from the nose doesn’t quite make it this far, but finishes nice with a berry cobbler thing.

It is inky, with a good dose of that Napa black currant and black olive. But this wine falls short in the structure department. It’s just flabby and boring. Keeps it sub 90 points for me.

Nose is dominated by a Twizzlers / licorice aroma. It tastes like a mix of garbage and licorice. Just awkward. The finish length is decent, but I'd like this wine to have as short a finish as possible.
