Wow, what some age will do really enjoyable. Mid palate is nice, has some mixed berries that come across strong. Still some tannins but I wouldn’t wait long to drink. Seems perfect now. Wish I had another bottle.

Has smoothed quite a bit, maybe toward the end of life? Has some juiciness at the end, a little stewed fruit.

Soft plush mouthfeel, ripe but not jammy, maybe some pencil lead in the mid palate. A bit of a quick finish. Not a ton of acidity or tannins so I’m guessing it wouldn’t age a long time.

Drank this over 3 nights. 2nd night was the best. 3rd night got a little flat. Nice dark fruit, round, and nice tannins. I agree with statements that this probably won't age long, since I didn't get high acidity or tannins.

Soft on initial palate. Has some rusticness and not a lot of fruit, but some dark fruit that might open up a bit. Grows in intensity and some acidity. Kind of a dusty finish.

A bit of a cold, so everything is a bit muted, but I really liked and for a sub $20 bottle I thought decent. I don't remember what I paid. Nice smooth start, somewhat thin mid, decent finish with drying fine tannins on finish.

I'm not sure if over the hill, but not a lot left. I'd also agree a little off. Dried fruit on nose and initial palate. Not delicious but not throwaway.

I've had this wine in my cellar for a few years now and decided it was time. Unfortunately, there is some funk on the nose and not in a good way. I sometimes think I'm oversensitive to this, so it may have been ok... I went back and forth on it. The mouthfeel is smooth, like I remember, and the finish lingers and has nice tannins, still. Fairly classic Merlot profile, not high fruit. But, for me, there was this persistent "off-ness" that prevented me from completely enjoying it. I didn't mark the bottle flawed, but lowered my rating. It could be this is nearing the end of life or, probably more likely, there was just something a bit off in this bottle. Without that, I would have gone 89+

I follow most of the previous tasting notes - absolutely wonderful mouthfeel, nice subtle but present tannins, the finish is there, but the weakest part of the wine in my opinion.

Very good, can't add much to all the tasting notes. Slightly one dimensional, but nice body and fruit with old world nuances. Have one more bottle that I will open in 2012, but probably not later than that

Not enjoyable. Tried it over 2 nights and little improvement on night 2. Upfront
it is light for a CdP, old world mid palate but the finish has something off that I really didn't like. Not sure how to describe but I'm waiting a couple years before trying again - here's hoping.

Smoky, some dark dirt. I'm not sure if more bottle time will help or not, but worth trying. Full bodied, medium tannins, some nice fruit on the finish but transition between mid and finish a bit hollow.

Inky dary and extracted, but polished and smooth. The finish goes on a bit, and I'd consider it well balanced. I get some dill on the nose. The mouthfeel is nice, and small tannins; but, not a lot of complexity in the taste.
