An absolutely amazing wine on day 1, one of my fave cabernets ever. Surprisingly not nearly as great on day 2.

Exceptional, best Brunello I've ever tasted. Bought near release in June, 2002. Patience paid off. Very fruity for a Brunello, decadent with long finish. Threw off lot's of sediment, next one I will decant. Seems to have plenty of life left. Have only 1 1997 left, sadly. Anxious to see how the overall 2010 Brunellos develop in bottle.
