Every bit as good as the 2018.

This still needs a year or Two before it hits its prime window. We did this as a part of a vertical and the group agreed that it needs a little more time to mellow and for the tannins to soften.

This wine is in its prime drinking window right now. Still lots of fruit and brightness but expressive of all the grapes in the blend.

This wine is in a great drinking spot right now. Everything has mellowed and the initial bite this wind tends to have when young is not there. We did this as a part of a 2015-17 vertical. This got half the votes.

This has softened well over time. Right now it still needs at least 2 hours in the decanter. Soft tannins and lore finesse than Artefact at this time.

Dark fruit and full body. Opened for 4 hours. The tannins are soft and the nose is bright due to the Viogner. Drinking really well right now.

This is drinking okay. After 90 mins, it is beginning to open up. Doesn't seem multi layered like when we tasted it at the vineyard. Hoping a little more time with bring this together.

Fantastic expression of Helen Keplinger's style. While not at expressive and forward as her main label, this wine is a great Rhone style and fantastic QPR for Napa/Alexander/Foothills blend.

Cherry flavors and earth. Just exploring Burgundies. Pretty good but a bit of astringency on the finish.

Drinking fantastic right now. I'm going to hold onto our last bottle for a few years to see how it ages. Classic Relic style and great Cabernet expression.

Drinking great now. The Carbonic has to be part of the Eutopia blend that Relic makes. Great texture and ripe strawberry.

A bit young, but shining after 2 hour decant. Fine tannins and a long finish. This will age well but drinks very nicely young.

Drinking really well if you like younger wines. One hour decant and enjoyed with timpano.

This has lost some of the early body and taste it had when it was younger.

This Syrah is always a great representation of what CA Syrahs can be. Dark cherry, blackberry and licorice with a nice herbal nose. Slightly acidic with aggressive tannins that open up in a decanter. The finish draws out for a good 10 seconds.

Still a good Pinot. We enjoyed it after Thanksgiving dinner.

On the second bottle, this still is better out of a Burgundy style glass. It brings the floral nose forward. Still a lot of leather and hint of tar with strong red fruit. Balanced tannins and acidity that leads to a lingering finish.

Over ripe strawberries and red fruit. Great texture and acid balance. Not as light as some of Relic’s other Pinots. Great Pinot blend. Maybe the best from Relic

Deep garnet color. The nose has new tennis ball (good) and dark cherry with a hint of deep plum. Taste of dark cherry, plum and cassis. Long finish with firm tannins and a hint of pepper. This definitely needs a few hours in the decanter when it’s this young.

Great nose almost like a Pinot Noir. Scents of leather, blackberry and mace. Dark fruits at the front with a smooth mid palate. Dry finish that is a bit harsh and acidic. Drinks well with some time in the decanter. This could lay down for a few years.

Fantastic Rhône blend. Drank this out of Burgundy style glasses. Had more leather and earth on the nose than out of the universal glasses. Fragrant floral nose with slight tar and leather. Red fruit with a long finish.

Leather and new tennis ball (pleasant) on the nose. Dark fruit and balanced acidity and tannins. So young it took 2.5 hours in a decanter to open up. Fruit tannins hang on to draw out the dark fruit and cherry flavors.

Dark red in color. Leather and a hint of rose and dark fruit on the nose. Great start with anise flavor that dances across the mid palate. Balanced with tannins and hold the finish for a few minutes. Decanted 2 hours. Great wine.

Big blueberry jam on the nose along with a hint of charcoal and rubber(pleasant). Low acidity. Lots of dark fruit and balance. The tannins grip you at the end and hang on for a good finish. At this point, it definitely needs a few hours in a decanter to open up. It should drink well for a few years.

Not remarkable. No acid and high tannins. This would drink better after a few hours in the decanter.

Balanced Pinot with fantastic floral nose and long finish. This will drink well for a few more years. Kasahya Pinot from Relic is the better of the two.
