A very big wine but fantastic with 2 hours of decant. Lots of flavor and finish. Not a subtle wine, but it isn’t trying to be one either.

Did not taste like a Pinot noir. Very bottom heavy and unbalanced. Generally unpleasant to drink - gave it a few hours but ended up dumping out.

After an hour to warm up this exuded a classic Peay profile. Delicious without being fruity, mature, elegant on the nose and tongue, and exquisite finish.

Very bland early on, but after 1.5 hours of air it opened up very nicely. Very balanced with nice flavor and a pleasant finish.

Excellent Peay foundation, though I don’t usually drink them quite so young. Needed an hour decant for the flavors to congeal into something special.

Needed over an hour of decanting before it opened up enough to enjoy. Then it was enjoyable though the nose and fruit were quite restrained. But enjoyably drinkable with nice balance.
