A truly complex and fruit driven gem in peak right now. Mandarin, apricot and cludberry. Such a nice mouth feel and in balance. Perfect acidity to carry the sweet stuff. One of these scenarios where you almost scream out loud "WHY did I not buy more!?"..

Such a different wine. Amazing aroma, taste of lemoncurd, nuts and browned butter. Fairly acidic, yet very balanced. Great wine.

Magnum bottle decanted for 4 hours which is an absolute for the wine to come togheter. Upon opening it's closed with mostly tannin and alchohol in taste. When poured after the decant I'm amazed by how vibrant this wine is even 20 years after production. Quite complex with a nice mix of fruit and tietary aromas. Served with elk steak and gravy sauce. Faboulus pairing.

I've got one more bottle but no hurry to consume it. It will probably show as good as today for the next 5 years +.

I feel priveliged to get to drink a 98 Solaia. Just in a perfect spot right now. Balanced, warm, beautiful. Ligher than expected as it's very sophisticated. Not the bold and plump feeling you can get from some SuperTuscans. Loved it.

Very enjoyable! Sofisticated and well-made.

Great and unique wine. Still a bit young? Needed 2 hours decant to brush off some of the greens and acid.

Wine is both tropical and floral. Has the mineral freshness of a Chablis. Beautiful aroma. Worth it's price.

Great wine. nice ageing notes, I believe this is peaking and will not improve from here, but might stay as it is for a while. A bit unbalanced upon opening, but a couple of hours in the decanter did the job. Highly balanced, very nice teritary notes, ripe fruit so nice integrated oak. Highly enjoyable and paired well with rack of lamb.

Original caracter with limegrass and baked lemons. Good quality wine for the price. Not sure if cellaring will benefit as it's both balanced and good now.

Fine acid in combination with teritary notes like forrest leaf, leather, smoke. It has a special appearance of curred meat. Paried with white pizza with mushroom and truffle salami. Amazing!

Amazing wine. Great fruit on day one. More teritary flavours day two. This is in a great place right now if you want an integrated wine with top fruit. Save if you want more secondary aromas. Will live on for many years.

Two bottles opened. One was a bit thin but still alive. Second one had more power and acidity. Very very good, yet faded and far from it's top. Second bottle was better after 6 hours.

After 4 hours the alcohol is integrated. So balanced, consentrated, big, bold and beautiful. Reminds of a port but better. Clearly notes of a Supertuscan, but in a Amarone costume. Just lovely on it's own. Still have many years and a small upside.

Great body with gentle and mature fruit - Yellow apples and baked lemon. Very good balance between acid and sweetness from the fruit. Beautifull bubbles. Some ageing notes in the after-taste. Very very good wine!
