Very little oxidation, the color was still very pale and youthful. Very leesy and rich. Elegant texture and finish.

Crisp, citric and fresh champagne with a bit of brioche and nuttiness. Great with food or as a mid-day beverage!

Well made, natural wine from a varietal originally from southwestern France (almost extinct there now). Earthy and funky aromas with a lot of fruit: raspberry, cranberry and bramble. A bit too tart on the palate for my taste.

Showing really well. Ripe sweet cherry on the nose with plum as well. Noticeable new oak, more on the mocha side but a bit of vanilla as well. Very rich and textured, but balanced.

Very new world style of Cab Franc but incredibly delicious and well made

My marker for this one: aperol spritz! Orange rind on the nose and very citric on the palate as well (grapefruit). Rich, yeasty, Dom P. Awesome minerality in the finish.

Super interesting wine: cabernet franc vinified as a white!

Aromas of ripe tree fruit, but almost candied red apple. The wine has a bit of weight to it, soft creamy texture, and a bit of minerality. Really enjoyed this wine, especially considering the price point.

Mostly savory aromas: pepper, violets and "stemmy". On the palate, a lot more fruit than you would expect, primarily dark cherry. Structurally balanced with good acidity and tannins.

Wine will benefit from another 2 to 5 years of aging.

Simple, juicy, light pinot noir with aromas of red fruit. A bit green and balsamic (more as flaws than anything).

Way past its peak. Oxidized with unpleasant aromas. Not sure why I bought a 12-year-old Falanghina

A wine of great freshness, complexity, and balance. Medium ruby in color with a spicy and smoky nose. Floral and vanilla hints as well.

On the palate dominated by fresh red fruit (cherry, red currant) with a chalky minerality and hints of vanilla as well.

The first wine I've had from Le Marche IGT. It's an excellent wine that stays in your mind well after finishing the bottle!

One of 17 Malvasias in Italy, Malvasia Istriana is also widely planted in Croatia.

Not particularly struck by this wine, as it’s neither aromatic or mineral-driven. Aromas of honeydew and flavors of pear, but overall quite tight. I would hold off another 2 years to see if the aromas and flavor develop a bit more.uu

Pale ruby. Tasted side by side with Les Brouillards from the same producer. More ripe red fruit but less chalky minerality on the palate. Felt a lot leaner. Still, a wine of great finesse that will certainly improve with time.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of cherry, raspberry, pepper, roses, and violet. On the palate, it's an interesting contrast: light, almost ethereal texture, with an intense minerality (very, very chalky). A bit of tart fruit in the mid-palate with a long finish.

Will certainly benefit from at least 5+ years, but already a delight to drink!

Single-vineyard Tinta de Toro that's both jammy and spicy. Aromas of black currant and ripe berries with cigar box, pepper, and licorice. On the palate quite rich with tannins that are drying with a mocha finish.

Pale gold wine with greenish specks. The nose is quite tight and mineral, but you get hints of green apple and white flowers. Austere palate with a bit of citrus and lemon, specifically. Solid wine but I would wait at least 5 years to enjoy.

Excellent sparkling from Etna with aromas of sweet brioche and citrus. On the palate nice minerality, acidity, and a green apple finish. First sparkling from Sicily - great value!

Good regional wine. Leaning more on the minerality side, but with good fruit and soft fine tannins. A bit thin in texture and medium to short finish but I was pleased overall!

Too green/vegetal for my taste. No fruit on the nose and a simple palate of lemon-lime.

I will disclose that I'm not partial to heavy, alcoholic wines but this was a big miss for me. Sweet fruity nose, overripe on the palate with 16% ABV.

Aromas of under-ripe cherry and cranberry balanced by damp moss and baking spices. Tart red and black fruit on the palate with fine tannins and a persistent mineral finish.

Big, concentrated pinot noir. New oak aromas of cream soda and coconut are prominent. On a second plane, blackberry, raspberry, and clove. The wine is rich and structurally balanced.

Not a wine for those who seek the elegance in Pinot, but well made and delicious.

Just an OK wine. No Chablis typicity (no vibrant acidity, minerality).

Medium gold wine more on the aromatic side (vs other Corsican vermentinos that can be more steely). Aromas of white peach, pear, and tropical fruit. On the palate citric notes/grapefruit and green apple with a nice minerality.

M body, M acid.

Very dark wine with a lot of extraction. On the nose black fruit with some earthiness. Balsamic, licorice, and violet notes as well.

On the palate, a lot more ripe fruit than one would expect from Alto Adige with a very slight vegetal finish.

Good acidity, soft but sticky tannins, and medium alcohol. The wine is in great shape but will likely not improve with time.

Fun grape with a cool history!

The wine’s color was a bit off; “oil” puddle on the surface. Maybe related to secondary fermentation...who knows.

It didn’t, however, otherwise affect the appreciation of the wine.

Aromas of blackcurrant, plum, fig and violet. On the palate, more on the tart red fruit spectrum: cranberries, strawberry

I finally had a chance to re-taste after my first bottle was corked. I'm quite glad that I revisited this wine and vintage.

Medium ruby in color with quite a bit of extraction for Beaujolais. Aromas of pomegranate, ripe cherry, blueberry, violet, and spices. On the palate, tart red fruit with a long mineral finish. Good acidity and softer, but still present tannins.

Initially very tight; benefited from 1 hour of decanting. Aromas of dried cherry, raisin, and spices. Very, very structured wine. Tart cherry on the palate with good acidity (M) and balanced alcohol. Long mineral finish.

Good value at this price point and plenty of aging potential!

Very extracted, deep purple wine. Blackberry jam, balsamic notes, and dill on the nose. The taste, however, more on the red fruit spectrum -- think sour cherry. Evidence of oak. Tannins were a bit too astringent for my taste.

Agree with previous note that there are initial reductive aromas that fade away. Balsamic scents at the forefront with additional aromas of plum, pepper and licorice.

On the palate, cooked raspberry and mostly ripe red fruit. M- acidity; M tannins and M+ body

Medium-straw color but a bit hazy.

Expressive nose with lemon-lime, yellow flowers, and minerality.

Vibrant acidity, with an intense green apple flavor with leafy and mineral finish.

Super well regarded Falanghhina producer at a killer price!

Really disappointing, unexpressive wine. Maybe it evolves more favorably over time but even hard to appreciate its potential.

Notes of black currant, plum, and cherry. Simple, fruit-forward wine.
The wine looks purple colored.
