A bit green tasting. Not my favorite Viognier.

Extremely earthy and smokey. A bit much for my taste, but it is a syrah. Didn't enjoy it as much as the last bottle.

Very smooth and delicious. Surprisingly good for the price. Not much on the nose, but no defects.

Sour cherry on the nose. Nice acidity, but quite a bit of heat.

After decanting for 2 hours, all I can taste is overripe cherries. Very similar to the Barefoot Zin. Definitely a pass.

Fruity, taste of tangerine. High residual sugar but not syrupy. A dessert varietal but drinks like a white.

Definitely improving with age. The fruit is mellowing out and becoming a balanced wine. Still very translucent, light ruby color. Sweet with a slightly tart finish. Planning on leaving a few bottles for 2+ years. Reason for the low score is the lack of a bouquet.

Vanilla and ripe cherry on the nose. Light color and slightly translucent. Moderately low acidity, clean finish, very little tannins. Very pleasant wine. Drinking chilled from my wine fridge. Overall very enjoyable.

Light, fruity, tasted of grapefruit. Very delicious.

Slightly corked. Overly musty and foul smelling when I first opened it. Aired out fairly well and tasted fine, but not at all like the other bottles. Disappointing as the 2nd bad bottle I've had.

Very Jammy. Surprisingly thick for a Zinfandel. Not much nose. Absolutely no tannins. Amazing QPR.

Wow! So this is what a fruit bomb is? Very dominant fruit forward. No heat, no bite, very clean finish. I don't taste any tannins. Citrus. Slightly crisp finish, like a grapefruit. Nose is pleasant and flowery, reminds me of a zinfandel. Not the usually mushroomy syrah. I think it's so mellow it's not going to develop much more; time to drink now.
This is a definite crowd pleaser. Nothing harsh and has the fruit to be appreciated by serious wine drinkers.
The bottom 1/8" of the cork was wet, the bottom was so dark purple it was almost black. Not corked yet, but may have gone there if cellared for a few years.
Each sip is more interesting and more pleasant.

Something foul with this wine. Didn't smell corked or spoiled, but the recipe is just off. It kind of has a foamy taste that is very unpleasant.

Spicy nose. Very tasty, sweet like a port. Very long tears. Clean finish. Had open for two weeks and was consistent throughout.

Fairly bland bouquet. Just a hint of pepper. Light red color, translucent. Nothing offensive going on, but nothing particularly notable. The Sang. definitely dominates but it seems like it should have been barreled longer.

Slightly sparkling when first opened, let breathe in the glass for 2 hours and it went away. Low acidity, high residual sugar. Doesn't taste like it spent any time in oak barrels, but that's consistent with a beaujolais. Simple, but enjoyable.

Sediment on the bottom of cork. The cork appeared intact and dry above the bottom 1/8 inch.
Very nice bouquet. Vanilla, citrus, sweetness. Dark red color. Slight tannic finish, drops off after a few seconds. Decanting a few hours did not seem to change it noticeably.

A sweet, savory blend. Very viscous mouth feel, virtually no tannins, left a very pleasant finish of blueberries. Bottle had been open for half a day at the tasting room, so I'm sure that helped open up all the fruit that was packed into this bottle. My favorite Vino Robles to date.

Pleasant, fruity nose characteristic of Cab Franc, but otherwise watery and bland.
