Beautiful wine, soft tannins ready to drink. I love the 2004 and 2005 Monte Rosso so I asked Ed what's ready now .Ed Sbraigia opened this wine for us at his minery. ...It is fantistic. Had a bottle with steak tonight. The nose and flavors developed thru the meal.

Nice rockpile offering but I've gone to the BIG zin style and find this wine a little "thin". For those of you that dont enjoy the "fruit bomb" style you will find this wine quite pleasing.

One of the big jammy style Zins I've grown to love. It has a complexity that's haunting ,I could just swirl and smell all night long. Hints of choclate and cinnanom. Not just a fruit bomb Best zin I've ever had.

Great central coast style. earthy complex cherry notes. 2007 is going to be a very good year for wine!

A Cabernet for the Zinfandel lover. Massive berry fruit and just a touch of soft tannin on the finish. Because it's the Mazzocco style it's BIG.

2007 is going to be a great year. The wine was just released and will improve over the nest year but was fantastic now. Golden hue, lush feel not overly maloactic.

Great nose. Hints of leather, cherry all the things we love in pinot. Nice mouth feel not a "thin" wine at all. Went great with roast chicken. My first bottle from Mount Eden. I will get more

A different kind of pinot. Dark color, big lush feel in the mouth but lacking a that great nose to go with it. I think I opened it to early. True to the Ferrari-Carano discription it has hints of cherry , coffee ,maple with just a hint of smoke.
I have half a bottle left and i'm sure it will be be better tomorrow.

Great deal ,rich fruit foward wine. As good as many 40 dollar botttles quite a deal at the $16.50 I spent at the winery at a 30% off sale.. based on the price i'd give it a 95

Not much too it. Nice body but very little nose what nose it has dosn't have the earthy tone I love in pinot. For a thirty- six dollar bottle I'd expect more.

Opened at Russian River, great nose right away and opened durning lunch. Earthy, with a slight hint of cherry. Light ruby color. A little "thin" but went great with grilled chicken salad on crusty french bread . Had half the bottle and went tasting. Kept the bottle cool over night and had the next day. Much better! The aromas were incredible and we suggest decanting for at least 6 hours before drinking it. It is definelty a food wine, try it with a little goat cheese spread on warm grilled crostini
