BTG at Noble Rot Soho. Quite gentle and delicate, but satisfying. Ready to drink - this would make an excellent aperitif.

This bottle lacked some precision, a tad too leesy.

Dark plum and spice nose with soil appearing with air. Satisfying chalky finish, lovely.

A bit anonymous on the nose but a very balanced and pure palate.

BTG at Noble Rot. Still very much full of life, and at its peak. Delicate and perfumed but also dirty and mushroomy. Still tight and slightly green on the palate, but very satisfying. Fantastic.

BTG at Noble Rot. What an beguiling and affirming wine. IMO you would won’t regret opening now if you’re impatient.

Intense and heady wet wool at first, gradually revealing preserved lemon and earth. Big acidity with medium + salty finish and some chalkiness. Intense and ready to drink or to keep cellaring. The pinicale of Chablis at this level.

Essentially the pinnacle of Poulsard in my eyes. My only critique is the not too lengthy finish but in all other ways this is delightful.

Quite boring, hits a single note with no depth.
Short finish, lacks acidity.
Dissapointing, especially when considering the £30 price tag.

Absolutely charming! Lifted and perfumed with crushed raspberry but made serious by a cloud of gunpowder and white pepper. Structured and finessed, this is a benchmark Pineau d’Aunis.

Flat peach and grapefruit oil hidden behind some brett. I’m a big fan of low alcohol wines and at 9.3% this is so fun and enjoyable but has good depth. Not necessarily a showstopper but I would never say no to this. A bottle to make you (and your friends) smile.

Baked apple and lemon rind with some salinity. Quite rich and vinous but dangerously drinkable!

Heavily reductive scent of cat food on opening. Eventually blew-off showing honey and green apple, good energy on the palate. Enjoyable but not particularly exciting, will leave my other bottles for 3 or 4 years.

Blue raspberry, white pepper and yeast. Super drinkable and refreshing, perfect for hot evenings. Serve chilled.

Beer yeast and damp cellar with crushed raspberries and blood orange peel. Fun and refreshing but wouldn’t buy again.

Pretty darn special. Lemon peel and tangerine. Baked apple, tangy salinity. Stunning texture and length. Electric and full of life. I’m sure it will age but it is so alluring now.

Suductive and smooth but needs more time to give its full pleasure.

Fresh and nuanced, unfortunatley let down by a bitter finish. Otherwise very enjoyable.
