Black cherry with some cola, spice and a little bit of curry leaf on the nose - palate is quite broad and concentrated for a wine at 12%. Seems like sensitive, thoughtful winemaking - a remarkable debut!

Very astringent, don’t chill too much and maybe give more air than I was able to..

2 Bottles - felt pretty emotionless and dull, not bad but not good. Maybe with some time in bottle this will unfurl but maybe that’s wishful thinking..

Cork looked cooked (seeping) but goodness me this was very impressive.. Sleek and lithe with an aniseed edge to balance the sweet but pure fruit. Delightful.

Before I opened I knew I was killing a baby, but this was the only wine in reach that I was confident I could drink over 3 days.

Dominant comte rind nose with some grape juice and a little slate and inflatable lilo plastic.

Intense mouthfeel, quite bracing but after some time quite satisfying.

Day 2 - remnicent of a serious Chablis, but lighter and with slightly fruitier palate. Very appealing.

Hold this for a few years, don’t be like me - I’m happy to take one for the team. Day 1 89, Day 2 90-91

Super concentrated and quite rich but still refreshing. Blueberry jam and ripe juicy blackberries. Can really feel and understand the terroir vs. vintage with this wine - which I find impressive for the price, but ultimately would go for a different vintage.

First tried this at Vin au Vert in Paris - it blew me away, bright, lifted red fruit and glass-like structure paired with just the right amount of VA, felt like it was wild but all in proportion. So I bought a few bottles. This bottle was very, very different - ripe red berries, with a lactic, confected yogurt note. Seems like it was going through malo in bottle and could use some time to settle down. Big bottle variation here.

Elegant and lifted fruit with a graphite edge. Refreshing and crowd pleasing - good for wine obsessives and those new to a more ‘natural’ style of winemaking.

Magnum. Beautiful, bright and easy drinking. Exactly what we needed. Prüfer reds seem to hold well and gain a certain ease, I always enjoy them more after holding for a few years. Also 10.8% but with no greeness, no sugar and good phenolic ripeness is so nuts for 2018, love it! Drink now IMO.

Light, bright and playful but the finish was marked quite heavily with alcohol despite the fact it doesn’t have a high ABV.

Enjoyable! But certainly not worth the price, much better champagnes available for far less. Didn’t go mousey, (sad this even has to be mentioned).

Starts quite tight with grapefruit pith bitterness but eases open, becoming more expressive over 1.5hrs. Our last glasses became orchard fruit driven and i even felt some sweetness. Great if you like natural wines but make sure to give it some time.

Pithy, bitter blood orange fruit and bret, plus a mystical beautiful smell. Went mousey after 30 mins - frustrating.

(had another bottle of 2019 last year which didn’t go mousey)

Perfectly nice but not particularly exciting. For this money you can get a far more enticing wine.

Intense preserved lemon nose, bold and tangy on the palate. Powerful and enticing. If it was longer I would put it in my top 3 wines to date.

Gorgeous and distinctive. Smelt like a perfumed old riesling but tasted all sorts of crazy. Made me happy to be alive. :)

A lovely, balanced, clean wine that I was greatful to try but that ultimately lacked excitement. Have had much better wines for far lower prices.

Beautiful bouquet, quite tight and ungenerous on the palate. Needed more air than I was able to give the single glass I had, but ultimately a fantastic bordeaux with its neck-tie loosened!

Absolutely fantastic. Both dangerously drinkable and beautifully complex.

Best enjoyed and savoured on its own, before or after a meal. In my opinion this kind of wine would only have its beauty masked by food.

Time has been a friend to this wine - it feels more balanced and playful than I remember. There's an almost toffee / armagnac note on the finish. Lasted for 3 hrs in the decanter without a hint of mouse. Satisfying.

First bottle was all wet wool and sea spray. This bottle shows less age and is focused much more on the fruit - apple, pear, peach, honey. After a while open it started loosing its steely palate and became creamy. Lovely!

Drank over 3 days, stored in fridge.

Very seductive wine that morphed quite a bit over the time it was open. Started with some (but not excessive) VA that added nice lift, slowly become more fruit driven and less peppery. Really really top.

The glycerol mouthfeel feels like it’s getting in the way of the attack and minerality that I look for in chablis.

Distinct cat food reduction on the nose, big shame because behind that there is clearly a seaside, citrus peel driven nose. On the palate completely all over the place, massive astringency and gross high alcohol, rubbery, gin-like finish. Not drinkable unfortunately - normally if a wine isn’t up to scratch I’ll still drink it but this was just not nice at all. Tried decanting, but no dice.

Big shame - was really looking forward to this. Clearly the fruit had big potential but something is not right here.

Maybe it’s bottle variation, but I wouldn’t risk buying again. If you have already bought a bottle I guess just hold it and live in hope? But I’m unsure much will improve, the reduction might integrate but don’t think that finish will…

Really unexpectedly outstanding - opened it expecting a bit of a mess but other than some totally complimentary brett this had no flaws and really shone. Beautiful aromatics and meaty but light palate. Open for 2 hours, no mouse! Must be lots of bottle variation.

Pretty boring to be honest - Apple juice, beer-like yeast, some dissolved co2. No drive, no concentration, no freshness, no minerality, not particularly pure. 2 bottles like this over 2 years.

Would not be mad if this was cheap (like cheap cheap, supermarket kabinett mosel cheap) but it was not.
Bad QPR.

As a natural wine and conventional wine fan, this is lame.

A technically perfect dry riesling but not the most exciting.
Melon, juicy white peach and a slight touch of inflatable lilo - The palate is on the broad side (for a riesling) and carries some mineral energy.

If you like natural poulsard, you'll like this. Heavy on the gamey, horsey funk at first with bright, dirty red fruit poking through after 10 or so minutes in glass. One of the more extracted poulsards I've had and better off for it.

Concentrated and intense. Starts off brett heavy, but with each glass revealing new layers of bright red and black fruit, even a floral note in the last glass, and as usual with this cuvée, a heavy earthy scent. Quite extracted with beautiful velvet tannins, and medium-long, black pepper finish. Made for the long haul but tasty now if you have a tolerance for brett.
