Really great aged port. Most of the fruit has dissipated leaving a great tawny behind with slight red fruit notes. Acid is perfectly balanced to the sweetness and the finish is quite long.

Really nice candied red fruit and violets little underbrush on the tail end. Acidity is med++. Finish is med+. Tannins still present. Paired great with a rich dish.

Will try again 2027

Quite a nice mouthfeel, acid balance and concentration. Still primary but a candidate for medium term ageing.

This is really coming into its own. It is a seductive hedonistic wine. Heavy cassis, raspberry, well integrated oak. Excellent mouthfeel, length and acid balance. Just entering it’s drinking window. Lots of life left.

Just brilliant. On open heavy nose of cassis, licorice, mint, raspberry preserves. It evolved with air and added a wild brush, herb de Provence and menthol overtone. One of those wines you want to nose as much as taste.

Palate was much the same as the opening nose with a slight bit of sweet cedar.

So balanced and refined for a wine from this region known for muscular wines. This still seems youthful but drinking perfectly now.

Personal favourite.

The primary flavors compete making the wine confused and brimming with energy. On the second day it settled down and became much more refined and enjoyable. Cassis, plum, ripe blackberry and a touch of menthol and herb fill the nose. Palate is consistent with the nose. Tannins are ripe and refined and acidity is well balanced. I would say 5-10 years of bottle age will help it.

Really compact wonderful Beaujolais. Nothing over the top but really nice blend of strawberry, bubble gum and floral notes. Has a bit of tannin on the finish and can definitely go 10 years.
