This was great, probably drinking at peak right now. Lots of red berry/cherry fruit, some pinot funk, a little bit of mineral drive, hint of tannins. Everything is fully integrated at this point, not the most serious and drinks like a thoughtful rose, delicious and gone too quick.

Dinner at parcelles. This was young and wound extremely tight, didn't budge over 90 mins. Dark beaujolais with black cherry, blackberry, rich berry fruit, good acidity and minerality carry this. There's a sense of the soil similarity to n Rhone with some olive tapenade/gamey/earthy ish tones, doesn't quite get there but enough to get the sense that this is more than acid and fruit eventually. Haven't had la souteronne 22 but i imagine this would be similar or better quality, pricey but one to watch.

Dinner at le grand bain. A little bit of brett (leather) on the nose, but mostly dark fruit. Blackberries and some plum on the palate, hint of green provides freshness. M+ acid, m body, lower in alcohol than expected. Really wonderful cab franc with a long finish. Really fruit forward at this point, this could gain from a lot of time in bottle but it's drinking great now.

day 1 pnp - first time with this producer. green fruit and acid on the nose, a little bit of minerality, really refreshing. Follows through on the palate with some apple skin texture, citrus pith bitterness, and high acid. Some green apple, something a little grassy? gooseberry? reminds me a tad of sauv b. Lingering finish. This is really good and much better than expected, I was admittedly more excited about the pinot and chard from dostert but if this is any indication of the quality it certainly hasn't tampered my expectations.

Paired well with pepperoni pizza.

Brett and VA on the nose upon open, Brett and VA on the nose checking in a day later, didn't budge. Old enough that the tannins seem to have integrated nicely, but too much barnyard.

Drank a while ago, missed cataloging it. Fruity and fun from what I remember.

Terrific, base 12+13, dg 16. From memory the thing that stuck out the most were riper stone fruit notes (apricot?), definitely not austere and benefitted from the little bit of aging. First bottle from this producer so I'm not sure how it's tracked over the years, but it was a lot of fun and well worth drinking now.
Red
Way too young, gone too quick, no detailed notes. Benefitted from a little bit of a chill and a lot of air, probably best in 1-2 years.

Bottle 1608/2400. On opening this was more austere with lemon and a saline finish, but with some air and warming the mid palate developed and brought out more classic chardonnay fruit with richer apple and pear, and even a fleeting ginger note. Oddly the finish was shorter as the mid palate grew, but still very enjoyable. This has more gas in the tank, but is a joy to drink now if you give it a bit of time.

Relatively straight forward, might have been too cold and gone too quickly. Yeasty nose on the open, warmed up into richer orchard fruit and some ginger, less brioche. Relatively round for the low dose, this was a treat. Not getting more pn character, maybe hint of strawberry/berry?

Open a few days, classic cab franc fruit profile and tannins integrated nicely with some air, hint of green but mostly getting an iron note which brings some complexity. Otherwise fruit forward and drinking nicely now, this would benefit from another few years in the cellar but is charming in its youth.

Really enjoying this. Agree on restrained fruit at first, but starting to come into its own after some air with an earthy and spicy nose, but the fruit is definitely on the blood orange/pomegranate, more savory side of the spectrum and less towards berry. There's a piney/resin/sappy quality to it that I quite like and lends itself towards lighter food. High acid, low-medium body, integrated tannins. My only bottle so I haven't been tracking its development, but I would imagine this still has a few years left in the drinking window (and not past its prime). ~1/3 the bottle with dinner tonight, going to revisit over the next few days.

This was.....distractingly good? I wanted to drink a good beaujolais and not have to think about it too much, but this was the best bojo I've opened in quite a while. Precise cherry upfront with some herbal earthiness in the mid palate and a long finish with everything coming together. More tannins than expected, but only enough to bring the structure all together, this is drinking in a great spot right now.
White - Sparkling
More aggressive mousse on opening and leaned more into citrus before air, but really came into its own in the glass. More rich apple and orchard fruit, some minerality, but benefited from the dosage. I remember not being so impressed with some of the newer entry-level NV bottlings from Moussé, but this was clearly a step up and I'll be on the lookout for more.

Still cant decide how I feel about this wine, very well made with really intense flavor, but it's all tar and roses. Strawberry started to come out some with air, but it's really all about the nebbiolo aromatics. Interesting for sure, not something I'd ready to drink again anytime soon, but something that will stick with me.

This is very very good, the best sparkling chenin I've had. Medium mousse and kind of subdued aromatically on opening, mostly got some honeyed notes, but after being open a few hours it really started to evolve. Lemon, chamomile, and even a hint of ginger, this was just right to go with or without food. Not vinous per se, but really really good, punches well above its weight.
Red
Note from memory, definitely tightly wound and more earth and garrigue(?) on opening, dense red fruit started to develop more with air. A classic example (I think) of tempranillo treated well, but definitely hold this for a few years, you can see where it's going if you drink it now but it won't be as enjoyable as it could be.

I know the producer uses little/no sulfur and that comes with risks, but I didn't have any mouse after several days open. Maybe bottle variation?
White
Day one this was more tightly wound, with more minerality and acid, less fruit forward, after a few days of being open it's settled much more into ripe orchard fruit, crisp apple, with the minerality and acid taking more of a role on the finish. This is great, really impressed with it through all stages of its evolution.

2021 Lukas Hammelmann Haschdott Pfalz Spätburgunder, Pinot Noir (view label images)
Love this. Great example of why we should all be drinking more rose.

High acid and some red fruit on the nose, but really fleshes out on the palate. Somewhere between cara cara and blood orange, raspberries, and maybe a hint of currants are all up front, followed by some red apple skin astringency on the finish. Really really terrific.

Compared to other spat rose I've had from 21, this is a little more approachable and is more ready to drink, but will still benefit from some age if you can hold off past the summer.
White
Everything that could be classic or stereotypical about a riesling shows up here, and for the better. Lots of orchard fruit, hint of mandarins and stone. Just enough sugar to round out the body and show up when you're looking for it. Really solid and easy to reach for.
Red
Not as fruit forward as i was hoping, everything is fresh and somewhat integrated but definitely favors the earthy tones more. Dense cherry and some red fruit with a lot of fresh earth and forest floor, decent extraction. Still managed to be on the lighter side, but i might look elsewhere for a turkey/poultry pairing.
Red
This is terrific and drinking in a great spot. Pomegranate, crunchy red berries (wineberry?) maybe hint of blood orange and summer underbrush, with some dusty tannins reminiscent of light persimmon. Really great stuff.
Red
Very primary, all cherry and red fruit. A little bit of minerality and baking spices, but not in the same focus as fruit. Decent extraction while maintaining a lighter body, i think this will mellow some into a better balance with the fruit, but not going to age a ton/structure isn't there to support that. A very delicious wine to drink over the next couple years.

A little nutty/almondy on the nose, but all fruit on the palate. Mostly sharp acid and orchard fruit up front but veers towards citrus and almost tropical fruit (pineapple) on the prickly short finish, more iodine and mineral on a persistent finish. I was worried about this being too young but it's fresh and delicious.

Good balance between darker fruit and a lighter body. Lots of dark cherry, some tannin bringing balance, and forest floor starting to poke through. After being open for a few hours the fruit started to fade a bit, but this will be good over the next few years. Held its own in a pinot tasting.
White
Tasted alongside a couple other chards. Texture was a bit softer, got mostly tropical fruit (mango?) and a saline quality on a lingering finish. Fun and young. Good introduction to labet.

Started out as very linear citrus and a hint of salinity, after a few days open it evolves into pithy lemon and naval orange, white florals, and that same salinity with a persistent finish. Charming enough young, but needs a lot of air or time to kick it up a notch.
Red
PnP. All fruit up front on the nose and palate, loads of strawberry, cherry, and a hint of cranberry on the finish for the tannins. Some light floral notes and a hint of anise? Really terrific stuff, need to find more and keep away from it.
Red
More sangiovese should go through carbonic, this was joyfully fruity, some deeper cherry and cranberry notes, with enough tannin to bring structure without needing food to balance it out.

Rosé
juicy, fruity, delicious. Not the most complicated rose, but plenty of strawberry and raspberry to keep everyone happy, acid is high enough to give it some drive but not overly tart.
White - Sparkling
From memory, nose is floral with some spice, palate backs it up. Need to improve tasting skills to pick out more distinct flavors, but this is slightly richer and a little bit oxidative which comes through on the finish. Really good, my first experience with Marguet, has me excited for some of his higher end cuvees in the cellar.
Red
too young, dense, and sappy. There's ripe fruit hiding out here but needs some more time to come out, better after a few days open.
Red
really pure red fruit, fine tannins, med acid and body, med-long finish. not the most complex wine I've ever had but now I get why people obsess over burgundy, just a joy to drink.
Rosé
Agreed with other note, this is tons of fresh strawberry and raspberry, on a layer of minerality. Less high lemon acid than 2021 although some tartness peeks through, this is in a more approachable spot right now and is so delicious.
Red
So good, the fruit jumps out of the glass and there's really great depth on the palate. With some time/coming up in temp there are more and more layers, but theres a melange of juicy berry fruit that starts to get more structured and food friendly as the cranberry tannins come into play. Some light earthy spices started to peak through as well, excited to get back into this on day 2.

Impressive that this truly is a 14.5% abv and you can tell. Great depth of fruit with lots of black cherry, plum, almost a hint of dried fruit, and lots of berries, but more nuance starts to get drowned out by the alcohol. Drunk over two days, day 2 with more of a chill let more expression come out, but it never quite resolved into something more fun, which it seems to be hinting at with its profile.
White - Sparkling
Citrus oil and rocks on the nose, more pronounced lemon on the palate. As it warms up there's less fruit and minerality and the yeastier notes start to come out. Leaner than the ultradition, this is maybe better suited for a nice dinner than a party. Really impressed by the entry level bottlings from laherte freres, I'll definitely be on the lookout for more.
Rosé
2022 Domaine Milan Haru Provence Grenache Blend, Grenache (view label images)
Naval orange? Strawberry? Bright and fruity rose, not a lot of tannins or structure beyond acid, but quaffable for the summer, and much better depth of fruit than your run of the mill rose.
White
Terrific, tasted blind could almost be confused for savennieres with loads of just right bruised apple. More herbal on the finish, and almost a chewy stone fruit texture, and bright aromatic nose. I loved this.
Red
Fresh and fruit forward, the pinot adds most of the acid and structure but the merlot really comes through with darker fruit and profile. Not a chillable red, but a good match for the summer.
White - Sparkling
Great stone fruit and rich pear with a limey finish. More citrus and minerals on the nose. Enough dosage to round everything out and bring some ripeness to the fruit, this is an attempt to make something as delicious as possible and it delivers.
White
A lot of the same components of the Clisson from a few weeks back, but that's where it ends. The same balance of fruit and florals, But going much more towards lemon/lime citrus and a hint of creamy stone fruit (apricot? white peach?) and more transparent white florals (less so herbs) with a hint of ripeness on the fruit to tie everything together. Minerality is a little more textural than what I can recall, with the same seashell note that lingers longer on the tongue. Really great stuff.

My first Marie Courtin wine, and it did not disappoint. Upon opening it was a little subdued, mostly giving up ripe apple with a hint of citrus, and eventually moving into the orange marmalade/candied citrus peel territory. Wood adds some nice spice and depth, and there's definitely minerality on the finish too, but this is drinking in a great spot right now. Everything feels very integrated and delicious.
White
Fruity, mineral, floral, this has it all. Rich palate with a bit of texture, this has loads of savory pear, grapefruit, floral herbs, a little bit of chablis-like chalky minerality, this is great. Drinking in a really fresh spot right now, opens up and softens a bit over the course of several days. Wish I had more.

A bit disappointing. Big streak of bubblegum tended to cover up the more interesting aspects. Cherry, strawberry, a little bit of cola? Light body and medium-high acid. I don't know if the bubblegum will clear up a bit with age, but it's a quaffable bojo now.
Red
Bright cherry, strawberry, forest herbs, and some earth. Pretty shut down immediately after opening, but a quick decant really opens this up. Fun to drink now, probably more interesting in a few years.

Probably could have waited a bit on this one, but it was too good to wait. Strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb, some forest floor and earthy spices. Light body, medium acid, and a little cloudy, this is ready to go.

Delicious, lots of bright red fruit on the nose, hint of fresh baked cherry pie, everything carries through on the palate. Mostly cherry and raspberry, with some savory blood orange notes poking through, not overt bright citrus. Really really wonderful.

Light and easily drinkable. Mostly medicinal cherry on the palate, structure comes from tannins. That's about it.

This is terrific, not a ton of fruit beyond maybe the sweet floral note you get from an underripe white peach and a hint of lemon? Otherwise, it's complex florals and salinity all the way with classic chablis minerality. Singular wine in my tasting experience so far, this is terrific.

Edit: day 4, this just kept developing. Much more fruit forward now, lemon and some apple up front, followed by the same florals and white peach note. Works well with spicy food.
