Still a lovely wine. More ethereal then years past but good acidity earthen mature characteristics. Still with dark fruit. A wine that can survive the decades and still enjoy. Would that their were more.

Coming together with a number of years left.
Still a dense wine with iron overtones. A little light in the nose. Will be interesting as it evolves. Far from over the hill at 9 years.

Lovely wine still with a lot going on.
Expect it to have a number of years to go.
Still retains acidity more complex with age while retaining aummer fruit. Handles spicy dishes as well as darker flavors; enhanced with food.

Rustic similar in style to some cab franc with darker earthy notes mixed with sour cherry. Food did not improve may have gotten in the way. Onion soup, goose liver pâté and lamb shank did not work. May be better with food with brighter flavors or something to drink on a cool summer night. Light on the nose sour finish. Does not have the heft for substantial food. Not a wine for the cellar drink this summer or next

Light summer fruit worked well with creamed asparagus soup and mushroom compounded butter. Duck also went well. Did not stand up to red cabbage which was sweet this overwelmed the wine. Wonderful now with the right food. Agree I would not give it a lot more cellar time.
