Not feeling this - off bottle? Oak overpowers everything. Seems like a bit of a mess. Poor QPR.

Great QPR at $16. Superior to the vast majority of $16 domestic wine. Purple red in color. Dark berries on the nose with similar flavors on the palate. Noticeable tannins with a medium mouth feel. Satisfying finish that lasts a bit. 100% Montepulciano.

Agree with two comments below. On the downside of the hill, close to being pruned.

In a really nice place. Plenty of funk, which mrs dontime loves, full of character and typical Cayuse style. If scoring, 92-94.

I love Mike's Syrahs and this is no exception. Loads of dark fruit, flowers and spice. In a good place at this point. If rating, 91-93.

Still attempting to find pleasure in these wines. I removed myself from the list a couple of years ago in order to give someone who appreciates this style an opportunity to acquire No Girls.

Not rating as I clearly don't enjoy this style.

Lots going on here, black fruit, orange peel, baking spice and some savory notes as the evening evolved. Certainly defies the vintage although I did catch a green note or two. If scoring, 93-95.

Past prime - given where I purchased no telling how it was stored for the first six years. Still drinkable and hard to complain given the $19 I paid. If scoring, 88-90.

I wanted to open one young. I was rewarded with a bottle that seemed older than it was. Black fruits with spice and chocolate. mrs dontime tasted a coconut note, one that she finds often in red wine. I've yet to find it. Certainly, a solid QPR for Napa, although I'm finding it harder to accept $75 as a starting point for any QPR consideration. If scoring 92-94.

Light in color and body but adds some weight with air. Primarily red fruit with a bit of oak, this punches well above its class at $20. If scoring 90-92.

Might have waited a bit too long on this one. Drinkable and reasonably enjoyable, but it had probably seen better days. Candied red fruits. Not rating.

Cork broke (with an Ah So) but I was able to remove the remaining piece without issue. Pleasant on the nose but lacking significant, discernable odors. Velvety smooth on palate with gobs of black fruit, spice and chocolate. Tannins resolved. If scoring 92-94. I suspect it has a few years to go without additional improvement.

PNP while completing a CT inventory. So far, so good :)

Spice notes on the otherwise muted nose. Spicy bright red fruit on the palate with additional notes of earth/moss. A surprisingly long finish contributes to a very positive experience. Plenty of life left. 91-93 if scoring.

Based on another reviewer's experience, popped a bottle just to see if all was okay. This bottle was fine - a real value at $12.00. Typical Merlot profile with soft tannins and plenty of fruit. Hope my remaining bottles are as good.
