Pretty inpressive easy to drink wine.
On the fresh fruity side without being too sweet. It’s a round wine with a decent length.
I think it’s more enjoyable comder at 15 degree.
Took this wine with grilled chicken breast and greek salad

Weird wine. At first, really powerfull wine. Not overwhelming tannins but strong thick wine. A bit too strong hiding the complexity of the wine
With a lot of air, it was smoother on day 2. I’m a bit disappointed that when I was expecting the wine to express itself by being smoother, I just discovered that it didn’t had that much to show.

Chalky, clear and pretty oily. A tint of citrus. Don’t drink it too cold or you will loose some subtil taste.

Wow!! I didn't expect that much of this wine. The texture have a kind of purity you find in higher priced Chablis. It's sharp, little catpiss acidity but nothing to much. It's soooo easy to drink this wine, so smooth

The wine is clear, almost water. Nose is subtil, lemon ish.

It's a really easy wine to drink. It have the acidity to drink it with crab legs but it's easy enough to drink it on the side of the pool on a hot summer day

Dark fruit nose. Cherry, plum. The taste was muted in the beginning. After 2 hours in the decanter it started to shine.
Good wine bit more “neutral” than I thought. I was expecting more

Really sharp and straight. You can taste the wine purity and cleanliness but if feels juvenile, toooooo young. Even with decant, it took 2 hours before it start to show up and it was getting better and better over time until we finished the bottle.
For now 89 but probably over 91 in 3-4 years or more

A perfectly enjoyable sparkling wine that is fun to drink all night long. You have the little taste coming from the 3 years aging, lemon grass, small bubble in reasonable quantity. Some sparkling wine have are over carbonated and are difficult to drink, this one was easy.
Drink it before, during and after dinner with crusted olives entree and fish and chip. Perfect companion.

Happily impressed by this wine. Fresh nose with citrus, floral spice, rainy morning.
Taste smooth, fresh again. Mineral citrus.
The texture is quite thick, oily.

An honest burgundy without anything wrong but without any special assets either.
I dropped half of the bottle in carafe and seal it with vacuvin in seconds and put it back in cellar.
The half in carafe was a bit short, fruit muted.
I drank the rest of the bottle two days later, it was better.

Surprising nose blasting red fruit, cherry, floral and intense.
Taste too acid for me, fruit acid, cranberry? A bit of a deception for me but the acid level make it probably worthy in the future

An easy drinking wine. On the fruity side, medium lenght, smooth tanins. I think it’s quite acid but I will need to taste it again with another meal to confirm.

Fell a little different than my last one. Smoother, less explosive and more mature. I'm not sure it's the wine and it's not me since there's not a lot of time since my last bottle but this on was better.
Still not a WOW, but a good high end wine.

Quite impressive for the price. Smooth, small bubble, fine texture and taste. Quite dry, tiny zest of citrus but not to acid. Crowd pleasure for sure.

Drinked this with chicken legs and roasted potatoes.

First, wonderful nose. Fresh red fruit, strawberries, vanilla, cherry. It's powerful and refined, amazing.

Tasting it, it fell short a little bit. I would say it taste probably half of what it smelled. It's good, but a little bit short and not a lot of tertiary taste.

It was good, but a bit disappointing for me. Maybe I had to much expectation or maybe the wine have past over the hill.

Took a glass with Coravin and the aerator and the balance the second day.
Dark red, thick red fruit with a tart feel. Not that long but well balanced. It's smooth and drinking well but quite heavy, California style.

I had great expectation for this wine. I will not say that I have deception but I think it's just not what I was expecting.
I'm struggling finding a good Pinot Noir from United States that will remind me the amazing experience I'm having with Bourgogne wines.
American wine are always heavier, stronger, thicker, sweeter, etc...
This wine is exactly this, good wine with great length, nice fruit expected from Pinot Noir, smooth tanins but the there's a kind of strong plum that is not unpleasant but it's blocking every terciary potential taste. Usually, I'm enjoying a good Bourgogne by itself, this one need to be enjoyed with a steak...

Really changed from the last bottle 6 months ago. Maybe the two hours decant helped on this one but it significantly better.
Longer, evolved, feeling like there’s density and substance. I really liked the spice punch of the shiraz with this wine. Fresh, fruity, really enjoyable.

Amazing. Bought the bottle after tasting it directly at the producer in Gratalops.
The wine is as I remembered it, amazing. Heavy bit smooth. Complex and simple at the same time.
Would just need more graduated length to have higher score, but nothing wrong there

We did an interesting experience drinking the Muga Gran Reserva and the Imperial Gran Reserva both in the 2010 vintage. Both paired well with a Chinese Fondue with beef and chicken.

There’s a certain weight with these wines. First, the fruit is appearing with a semi thick texture. The Imperial is a bit eavier with a nice wood background while the Muga is a bit more refined. Maybe not refined, but you can taste deaper in the length due to the absence of sweet wood the Imperial had.
Medium length with both wine.

We enjoyed tasting both of them back and forth during the dinner an I’m rating the both with a good 93. It’s really a personal preference that will define the best one for every single person. One who better like the pinot fruity length will better like the Muga while the Imperial will please the one who are enjoying Cabernet wood and wine that are sweeter.

It was an amazing experience

The nose provide a fruit explosion, cherry, plum, red grapes with floral notes.
The taste was a little quieter. Less fruity, a bit acid with tannins present but not unpleasant.
On the opening the wine was really tight, almost stressed.
Did a double decant and waited an hour before drinking. Already better but the wine is lacking depth.
After 4 hours it start revealing something else. Longer, some soil and wood. I think it would have evolved more with time but I finished the bottle…

Minimum 5 more years to have more of this wine

I’m not sure about this bottle. It’s on the young side then I opened it 3 hours before consumption.

First sip I’m feeling the fruit, cherry, strawberry, plum. But it’s also quite dry, really acid without any depth.

I would have expected some wood, soil, leather. Nothing like that. 1/3 of the wine is missing: fruit, acid but no weight.

I have another bottle that I will revisit in the future. Maybe it will develop in the future but I doubt.

I had the 2015 and 2016 of this Crozes-Hermitage back to back during a dinner with friends. We dranked this with an italian saussage korean ramen.

The 2015 was fresh, fruity and quite acid. Easy to drink and enjoyable.
The 2016 was a little less acid, longer in mouth and more velvety, smoother.

All four around the table agreed to say the 2016 was the best.

Quite curious. This wine is far from the other one I had last summer. Not bad, but not what I expected from the other bottle. No wood, no complexity. More like a super sweet sirup.

I bought a 750 ml. bottle because I was wondering what it taste like before opening my 6 liters bottle. It have potential, but tannins are straight sharp and everything's pretty sharp in this wine. More than half of the bottle went into the lasagna sauce :-)

I'll wait 5+ years before opening the Mathusalem

What a good surprise this bottle have been for me. Bought two bottles of that wine from a private importer in Quebec province 3-4 months ago. I like Barolo and Barbaresco and I found this product interesting so I decide to give it a try without to much expectation.

On the opening, WOW. Red fruit explosion, cherry, raspberry with red grapes. Had the caracteristic red/orange color from the Nebbiolo. From there, I start to have some expectations.

First taste, still fruity but not as much as the nose proposed. It’s a good thing because it would have been too much. I can taste a little bit of wood there, plum as well. The wine is really well balance and kind of “politically correct” with everything well integrated without anything being too punchy. The tanins are surprisingly really smooth for a young Barbaresco.

It’s definitely a crowd pleasure and a really good wine but lacking a little bit of personality to become a great wine.

It’s a shame that after only 4 months ordering this wine the importer is not proposing it anymore. I don’t know why and I cannot find it anywhere esle in Canada. I will give my other bottle a few years to see how ot evolves

At the opening, I could smell the hold rotten wood from the cork. No vinegar, just rotten wood. The cork was in a really good shape.
Color is still pretty dark, opaque red.
First nose from the glass reveal a classic bordeau. Smell the fruit, dark fruit, hold wood.
First sip gave me sharp but not deep tanins. The taste is surprisingly fresh, fruity with a touch of the hold wood in it.
Tanins took about 10 minutes to leave the place to the flavour. It’s a really good wine with beef bourgignon but was really enjoyable by itself after the meal.
After 1.5 hours it started to shut down and the oxidation were present. Good thing we were at the end of the bottle!
Some sediments but really not that much for a 30 years old wine.
It was overall an amazing experience.

Good toscan that have aged well. After an hour+ decanting you have a special red fruit with forest mold nose and taste.
It’s really interesting and complex.

I’m not sure if last time it doesn’t had enough air or it evolved in 6 months but way better than I remembered.

After the hour, the nose was pleasant and not that strong with red fruit currant, spiced wood and a bit of soil.

It have more power on taste. Nice thick fruity wine. I didn't fell the alcool even at 15.5% Will get better with time.

Pretty interesting.
Of course the wine is young. It have been opend for 5 hours on the first night but was still closed, muted like if flavor were blocked by a wall.
I c’osed ot with vacu vin and it passed 20 hours in the fridg.
The day after it’s a really different wine. The wine feel quite thick and smooth. Delicate red fruit with nice spices notes. Tannins are smooth and even if the wine is not sweet the acidity is not strong.
Really nice wine but wait several years, if not, you will need to wait several hours after opening.

Weird wine and first time experiencing that kind if taste.
The wine was at 12 degree and taste / fell like if it was hot. Weird feeling of oily liquory hot white wine taste.
First time I see a white wine improve that much with an hour of air. I’ve also brang it down to around 8 degree.
Beside that, quite dark yellow, cat piss nose and taste, no minerality and I didn’t found the lemon flavour.

An interesting uncommon white wine. First time drinking a white Sangiovese.
Really subtil nose, limpid and clear texture.
Really smooth wine, silky. Floral note probably comming from the fruit of the Sangionvese without the skin but with a great acidity remembering a good Sancerre.
Enough weight to have it with chicken wings, but really enjoyable by itself as well

That's a well balanced and refined Barolo, especially at such a young age. Tannins are there but not rough. It have a nice red purple color, a pleasant nose and a fruity taste. The wood isn't really there but it's not missing since the rest of the wine is well balanced.

I think the wine is not fully evolved yet. The texture is extra smooth, easy to drink. But I dkn’t know of it’s dryness of the tannins, but something harsh.
The fruit is there but no complexity yet, lacking refinements.

From the nose, you are strongly smelling the fruit from this wine. Same thing with the taste, really fruity but not sweet. I think it’s less mineral than other Priorat I’ve tasted but the minerality is still there.
It’s round, easy to drink even right after the opening. I was hopping more dept on day two but it haven’t really changed.
It had oxidation on day three

An ok Bordeau wine for a Monday night. Ate it with bbq chicken breast and potatoes.
Nice powerfull nose, fresh fruit in the beginning of the sip but ending abruptly with short tannins. Almost hit like a wall.
Better after 4 hours but really better when drunk with food.
